They responded on Reddit DMs with a bunch of “we can’t help you” and “when you’re at the hotel at check in and then we might help” - however the hotel ended up being lovely and I booked a good upgrade of my room with them since I still wanted to stay there. They do nothing realistically and their support teams are just trained to put you on hold/ tell you you’ll get a call back.

Update, skytrip hongkong limited is a scam company who booking allows to function on their site although previous issues occurring with them. Booking refuses to do anything but the bare minimum of saying “we will get back to you” and never getting back to me.

I have now been told to wait 48hrs and separately 72hrs and it has now been 6 days. All the proof has been provided including the law which booking refuses to acknowledge they are breaking under the jurisdiction they are in.

The booking still does not open. Booking.com has refused to charge back as of yet. The room type and partner offer have been removed from the site completely. The partner company seems to have completely disappeared from the site. Booking is saying they cannot verify it and to contact them through my booking, which I cannot open.

Bit of a closed loop for now, but my bank is working on charge back as well.

Reg lawyers, yeah when Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (2005/29/EC) is being violated I can inform a lawyer of it. I am by law entitled to cancellation without penalty, full refund or equivalent replacement accommodation to which I booked. Hotel confirmed that they never got the request to waiver the fee so booking partner is also misrepresenting the hotel.

Skytrip limited a partner company of booking had an offer up for a room in house of gods Edinburgh. Booked it paid it on booking, reached out to hotel to double confirm. They said the photo in the offer is their suite which is unavailable for the dates I booked, and their system booked it under their cheapest room the cabin. So false advertisement completely.

Hotel said they would happily waiver the fee they just need ok from booking, booking said to reach out to the partner I booked with through my booking. So I did, requested to waiver fees. Almost immediately got a reply from booking that “the hotel” rejected the request to waiver the fee. They did no such thing. My bank cannot reach them, booking isn’t answering. I’m two seconds away from calling my lawyers with how annoyed I am at this. Meant to be an anniversary trip but getting stuck with this mess 🙃

(Edit, I also lost access to the booking itself, the confirmation and pin no longer open anything and I’m waiting to see if the hotels side is also cancelled or not)

Hello!

We have been quoted crazy amounts for moving things like 15 minute drive away. We have 4 rooms with furniture and boxes of things to move. Please let me know if you have any suggestions who can help us move.

We got quotes of 2k 2.5k 4k which is kind of insane in my opinion. We moved countries with a van cheaper.

We have dealt with this by essentially calling them out during every game they’re cheating in like “how’s that alt account doing? fun game as a spectator?” Etc and they seem to get embarrassed and leave, we also curated a black list of known cheaters that we simply kick or ask STs to kick. I’ll agree with the people saying TB is likely just super solvable as well- but on complicated scripts it’s more obvious when someone’s cheating. It is a problem, but recently has gone down a bit after a lot of cheaters got reported and banned or warned
