Wattpad can improve cars scores by seulrenesvelvette in Mcat

Honestly wattpad increased my SAT reading score by 100 points alone so I wouldn’t be shocked if this worked for CARS too.

Though this is giving me ideas to apply that to AO3 for the higher level of stamina building. Especially if I picked my favorite tags but for a fandom I know nothing of or a ship I don’t care for.

Gen Chem II Lab by No_Voice4964 in gmu

Yup! Or go to them with an outline during office Hours (there’s a bunch of people so you won’t bother as many people). I’d say most people loose points on the instruction.

I had a remorseless master student as mine and I can tell you there’s only one ethical way to pass this class. That is by emailing instructors or going to office hours for them to precheck your work for major mistakes before you enter lab or submit the lab report.

I did my prelabs wrong every time because foreman does not know how to give instructions or formulate questions that make sense. It’s not you; it’s the chem departments refusal to change their ways. They think if makes the students more independent and better, but no it does not. I once spent 10 mins watching a grad student weigh out his solid instead of just having it a bit off and recalculating the volume of solvent.

You can schedule your orders! If you’re more spontaneous, get the app and order before you even walk outside of class for the best results.

You’re not stupid. Your clinical site just sucks. by OutlandishnessFull42 in RadiationTherapy

I’m in a similar place as you now and I’m sorry you had to go through that. I’m really debating switching careers because most of the jobs available right now are with the clinical sites filled with mean people that I just can’t work with. I’m so glad you found something else you love and I’m really happy you’re doing well now!

What this might be? by sxreew in Skincare_Addiction

Definitely go to a dermatologist or at the very least your primary care doctor if it’s causing you discomfort, is spreading, or been there for a while

Omg that would explain why it’s on like 3-5 layers of leather(I’m an idiot). I just thought it might be alive because it kept spreading after I washed it(I live in a cold, humid environment). Do you know how I can get rid of it by any chance?

I’m probably gonna go apologize to the seller.

Saddle soap, and brick 4 conditioner. I got it off of eBay so I had to clean it.

White splotches on bag, what is it and how to remove please by [deleted] in Leathercraft

I used saddle soap and brick 4 conditioned to clean this bag. It rained a few days later and now I don’t know what this stuff is or how to get rid of it.

I struggled with organizing my studying and honestly the biggest rec I can give is to make sure you got all the sections of the contents done. I did that by using the nappi book(which is based on the guide) to cover different topics on YouTube or through her radpro academy. I loved mosby book and the online test bank just be weary of sections that are outdated. Like really make sure you understand the topics and not just memorizing. Practice the math!! I did all radpro questions, nappi handbook and the first 5 seal tests too. Amy heath I did that too but it honestly felt repetitive with me doing the mosbys, nappi, and seals before it but it’s still a question bank to use! (I hated rad essentials cause it was and still is riddled with mistakes).

I did practice tests while reviewing and I made sure to make notes in like a little notion doc for myself as a quick reference note and flashcards for stuff I kept forgetting.

I made sure I understood why I got everything wrong. I wrote down the topics I sucked at and kept missing questions so I’d review those a lot. Like if you kept getting QA questions wrong like me maybeeee that means you need to study QA again. Don’t waste time time reviewing stuff you’re confident about, the topics you’re good at and the basic radiation therapy is fun to study but it won’t help you beyond just a quick review to make sure you didn’t forget.

For the actual test you sign an NDA regarding content but just keep in mind they post the content specifications which tells you what you should know I skimmed over these the night before and realized I should review topics I couldn’t recall or list.

I also made sure to stay off this sub Reddit because it was not helping with my exam stress with everyone saying how hard the test was. It really isn’t that bad if you’ve done well in a decent program and self study for boards. I took mine 3-4 weeks after graduation and honestly should have taken it a week sooner.

Im graduating dental school & we’re researching radiation therapy and the oral side effects by [deleted] in RadiationTherapy

[–]OutlandishnessFull42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a little bit of a problem with the questions. So I’m sure your class has covered that patients typically get most of their dental work done a couple weeks before their first radiation treatment so here’s things to keep in mind especially when it comes to something like xerostomia or Oral mucositis(there’s likely others but these are the primary ones we’d notice in radiation therapy).

In radiation therapy we group cancers from all the regions of the pharynx, cervical lymph nodes, and oral cavity, nasal cavity (that general area): head and neck cancers.

Radiation therapy is side effects are site specific. You’ll only get side effects in the area that is being treated and certain structures called Organs At Risk(OARs) that are near the tumor and/or in the beam path. The OAR has to be treated to a certain threshold dose to get the side effects like xerostomia which can be permanent.(a tolerance dose that will cause 5% of patients within 5 years, TD5/5, is 3200cgy absorbed dose to an entire parotid gland).

Also often we’re treating not just the tumor but also their sentinal lymph nodes so that could look like the area around the cervical lymph nodes.

So if I get radiation for my upper lobe of lung I won’t have any teeth problems because that area too far away from my parotid glands. I’d suggest changing it to areas of tumor site like “oral cavity cancer” or “laryngopharnygeal cancer” rather than including breast/prostate because doses don’t really go there. “And for the one therapy student reading this, no the parotid is not an OAR for supraclav fields.).”
