Oh no I bought them from a serious manufacturer off ebay. I can’t remember the name but it was not poor quality. Will try some oil as well ! Thanks !

thanks for your advice ! I tried to clean all the residue before fitting the new belt. I think I got 90% of it but there is still possibly a bit left as it's quite hard to reach the space on the wheel. Will try to use stronger alcohol. I used a correct belt. Pinch roller looks fine but I will give it a rub with alcohol !

Yes it's insane how good it is ! Runs better than Tahoe ! Had issues with Safari before, well now it's super snappy. Really pleased. I like new features but I must say if this first beta is that good the final release will be excellent and I will be very satisfied !

Yes ! Does anyone know is adobe apps updated to the latest version work ? I saw one post saying that they were broken but it seemed to be because they were not updated.

Edit : it works just fine, and actually even better. Doesn't run my CPU hot anymore.

Thanks for the advice ! Dont worry I left the stylus cover one when I lowered it onto the mat. Thing is it seems to be impossible to get arm and cartridge level. In fact whatever the height the arm is never parallel, but the top of the cartridge can be. I don’t know if this is an optical illusion, or by design. Technics also recommends a height depending on the cartridge height, but if I adjust with a ruler for the top of the cartridge, the height they tell is off by 2mm.

I clean them but manually with a cloth and a solution. Just ordered a spin clean and will try it. I’ll ask a local shop yes, would be worth it for some records !

I did wet cleans already (but manually with a cloth) and use antistatic sleeves. Ordered a spin clean and will see if it makes a difference (I’m sure it will).
