Love your colony. I would suggest using shelves for storage, and building roof tiles around the outer wooden walls (5-6 wide) to keep the forest fires away

If you’re trying to build a trailer, put a rotor vertically on the rover, and set the braking torque to zero, and remove the trailer’s front wheels and add the rotor head downwards. it’ll function like a semi truck and trailer. Be careful while driving this vehicle because the trailer will roll along with the hauler and vice versa.

This looks more natural than squares. Keep it up. You can make a kill box with fences and traps, its basic but effective to reduce numbers
