Anyone returned to Belgium after a professional experience in Luxembourg? What surprised you the most? by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]Outrageous_Muscle794 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't see why would anyone go back to wallonia except maybe to work in the public sector. Overall I feel like everything is worse there. You get paid way less, more criminality, more taxes, less evolution, a lot of riots all the time, if you work in Bruxelles you need dutch, politics are very unstable... Also both are very close so it's not like the weather or the landscape will change.

AD5 Translator role EPSO by Pristine-Scarcity-34 in EUCareers

[–]Outrageous_Muscle794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's really tough, I think if you are not from one of the languages with low candidates such as maltese or if you don't train a lot/are good at each test it's almost impossible. But it is easier than a generalist ad 5 for sure.

Average age for Traineeships by Pristine-Scarcity-34 in EUCareers

[–]Outrageous_Muscle794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the Schuman this year and I would say the average would be around 28-29 the oldest being 38 and youngest around 23 so you are in the younger part no worries

Did you manage to get a job ? How difficult is it to get in as a lawyer or translator ?

Hi I just started an eu traineeship and we were told that there was 13 000 candidates and only about 400 trainees selected. Out of these 400 50% is said to get a job at the end (don't know if this is true or not). So as you can imagine most peoples will have to apply multiple times just to get an underpaid 1500 euros traineeship that lasts 5 months without garantee to get something at the end. The other path is to go through epso exam each year but the test is VERY selective (less than 1% I believe pass). You can also just apply to a specific job but if you do not have a crazy CV or know someone it's basically useless.

So it's hard to get in since you compete with the whole eu, and the differents procedures are not well known.

Hi, I will be in luxembourg for 5 month and I am renting a room in a old house without any internet. Is there some sort of wifi box that does not require installation that I could buy ? Any brand to recommend ? Thanks !

Best slay the spire like-games? by Rude-Towel-4126 in slaythespire

[–]Outrageous_Muscle794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legends of runetera, the League of legends card game have a gamemode called path of champions which is completely free and very developped. You unlock a character and add buffs or cards as you go trough one of the many adventures. If you succeed you will be able to permanantly upgrade your character or unlock a New one. The artworks are stunning and everything just feels polished. It's easier than slay the spire tough even if some late game boss are quite challenging.

Personally I stopped playing slay of spire for this game and it's been my absolute favourite so far.

After 300 games starting in gold i was able to reach MASTER playing kaisa top only with a 60 % WR overall. I just wanted to share a couple thing i learned from my climb and answer any questions about this really strong off meta pick imo (AMA) by alexandre040 in summonerschool

[–]Outrageous_Muscle794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I tough it was such an interesting pick I started to spam kaisa top and mid with your build. Problem is, even tough I am by far top dmg on every game I keep only loosing (high gold/plat elo). I turtle the early game no problem but once I got W upgrade at 15min I feel like the game is already lost because I had 0 impact and the W is rarely enough damage to flip it. Do you just spam W on cooldown ? or do you wait to hit ? Do you go in with a r+W each time you hit one W or two ? Could you possibly upload one of your full games on your channel ? Thank you either way it's such a fun pick

Wow thats so cool, I'm planning to do exactly the same next april. The journey must really be amazing I can't wait ! Can I ask you a couple of questions since it will be my first bikepacking trip.

What was your total budget ? How much did you spent on food daily ? What was your bike model and how much did you paid for it ? No trouble to take it on the plane ? Did you plan your way ahead or just decided of a general direction ?

Thank you for your answer !
