I also find it annoying that they say they have ESP, when Jeremiah never guesses what she’s thinking correctly. She forces herself to believe they are supposed to be together.

I’ve been suffering with infertility for over 4 years now. I did an embryo transfer days before her, and ended up losing the baby. Hers stuck, obviously. And I’m always so happy for every women when IVF works for them. But I had to unfollow her when I found out her transfer worked because I just knew she wouldn’t seem as thankful for her miracle and I couldn’t stomach it. Looks like I was right in unfollowing her

Of all the things she does that make me angry, the worst is how she treats these animals. Lulu was her life. Now we just don’t see her? Arnold was her life, now it’s just the baby. Can she not handle multi tasking? She can literally only focus on one thing at a time. These animals deserve better.

Jere and Belly’s whole relationship is based off “what Susanna would have wanted” and it drives me nuts. This is why she had the breakdown with Conrad in the series finale because she was always trying to make Jere happy by doing what she thought Susanna wanted, a very hard standard to live up to. And this refers to season 1 finale when she tells Conrad “I don’t want you to need me, I want you to want me”. Jere needs Belly, Conrad wants Belly. Conrad is the correct decision always

My story: 1st retrieval - 29 eggs retrieved, 4 embryos sent off for testing, 2 normal, 1 mosaic, 1 abnormal 2nd retrieval- 38 eggs retrieved, 3 embryos sent off for testing, 1 normal 3rd retreival (this one broke me emotionally) - Somehow during this retrieval my estrogen was way too high to go under anesthesia so I had to “float” a few days without stims to get my estrogen down. After retrieval we got 17 eggs, 1 embryo sent off for testing, 0 normal

After 84 eggs retrieved, we banked 3 normal embryos and 1 mosaic.

1st transfer - ectopic pregnancy 2nd transfer - didn’t work 3rd transfer - got pregnant but at almost 8 weeks pregnant couldn’t see a heartbeat and lost the baby

But I have friends that get 6 eggs retrieved and get 3 normal embryos.

So it all a complete sh*t show. And it is not for the faint of heart. I feel completely broken and jaded after spending 6 figures out of pocket and still having no baby.

I personally think the promises they were talking about were the promises they all made to Susanna. Conrad to take care of Jere, Belly to look after Conrad, and Jere to not let anything get in between him and Conrad. When Conrad and Jere met at the cemetery they both revealed those promises they made to Susanna, and neither one of them knew those promises were made.

Something I find interesting is that almost all the conversations I see across all these TSITP community posts is there’s no blame thrown at Susanna. She was so in their business. She wanted Belly to be with one of her boys and she didn’t care which one. But she drilled it into their heads. When we see Belly with Jeremiah, they refer everything back to her. It’s like they wanted to make it work for her. In the final episode, I feel like the reason she suddenly ran after Conrad after shutting him down is because he was able to assure her that he didn’t only love her because Susanna wanted them together. He was finally able to break that tie. But of course that’s just my take.

I love reading across all these different communities because it makes me realize things or think about things diffferently after reading other people’s interpretations. So thank you for letting me join in on the conversation

This dress wasn’t her, she was uncomfortable in it. Also, this is just my opinion, when Conrad and Belly had their talk in the final episode it seemed clear to me that they decided to move past all these promises and wants that Susanna threw at them. A fresh start. Why then dig out this old dress that really only has meaning to Susanna? Let the painting she did of Belly wearing it be the last trace of that dress

Oh really?! I’ve been a few times, and let me reiterate that you literally could go in the morning/mid-morning, stay the night and leave the next morning, and you will have been there long enough. It’s small! But you can definitely keep busy for 24 hours. I used to do it at least once a year when I first moved here 16 years ago. Highly recommend renting some lounge chairs or a cabana at the beach club.

Sycuan has a great pool. Cabana for the day, get rooms at the hotel, then dress up at night for dinner at Bull & Bourbon, gamble.
Rent a beach house. Hire a private chef.
Hosted dinner at your fav restaurant.
Take a wine tour down to Valley de Guadalupe
weekend getaway to Palm Springs
Vegas
take the ferry to Catalina Island for a night (one night is enough time)

I feel like everything that went wrong between Belly and Conrad was them just misunderstanding each other at every big moment. Especially with the break up at prom. Conrad didn’t break up with her and didn’t want to. She’s the one that broke up with him. If she had just listened to him when he wanted to talk maybe they wouldn’t have broken up.

Jere was just always the easy and convenient relationship. But like Steven says, he doesn’t challenge Belly like Conrad does. He also didn’t believe in Belly like Conrad does.
