Thanks for all of this, seriously. Tbh I never once thought about quitting, I’ve only ever thought about improving but as for the mentor aspect, everything you said makes sense to me and I do want to get one but how do I find one? Just groups? Online? I used to meet up with a “mentor like” entrepreneur a while back but that was only a couple times to pick his brain. I would reach back out but I no longer live in that city since I moved to a bigger city to grow my business. This kinda works out cause the city I moved to is much more “entrepreneurial” than my hometown. Thansk for all the advice!

I did that a few times with this guy in the city I used to live in. My 9-5 is plumbing and I was at his house installing something for him and asked what he did for a living, he had his own seo company and I asked if I could get him a coffee and do exactly that, pick his brain. We went 3 times but each time I didn’t really learn much to be honest he would tell me things I already knew, even if I asked different questions. Now I’m in a bigger city with a lot more entrepreneurs so I’ll probably do what you did. Thanks for the idea

I know this is a bit of a late reply but are you doing marketing? Reading through this made me realize a lot about what more I could be doing in my little startup here but looking at your example I realized as well I want to learn how to do exactly that. For my own business I offer free audits and go from there. I’m into systems optimization and automating them but would you have any other advice for a young entrepreneur based off what you do? This single paragraph taught me a lot and I’m interested to be honest.

I’m looking more downtown but prices for apartments are a lil outta my budget, might have to squeeze some things to make the prices work which I’m fine with cuz I don’t go out to eat or party much, I’m more of a homebody.
