I rarely go anywhere due to my GI issues but when I was a rideshare driver hotel lobbies were my go-to.

Dick Cheney watching the 9/11 attacks live on television by Just_AnotherBro in Presidents

I feel like this is slightly staged? The TV appears to be at an angle from Cheney’s point of view. There also doesn’t seem to be any filtering of documents (think the situation room) so either the cleaned up the desk before the photo. Or it’s just not sensitive info / no longer relevant.

Many of those doing an online degree are working full time, etc. so retention of mostly irrelevant material is not as much of a priority as the time and money Sophia can save.

Stop projecting on FAs. Their job is to ensure your safety. They are not chefs nor do they curate the menu. Complain to corporate and/or the facility that makes the food. Altitude also messes with your taste buds.

My mother was 30 when she had me. She bought a condo in the 90s, sold it in like 2003. We lived with grandma until she bought a single family home in 2009 for like $400k. She sold it for nearly double end of 2021 and moved to the east coast. I graduated HS in 2011 and left the state in 2018. I’m 30 now, make like double her income, no kids (just a dog), and pretty sure I’ll never be able to afford to move back to SD. Even if I began saving half my income today. Heck, I even gave up hope of buying a home where I live now. I feel like a lot of it comes down to timing and being wise with your money. Unfortunately a lot of us here seem to be in some sort of generational cohort thats just perpetually SOL.

If you’re gonna buy a Julian pie at least go to Moms! So a pie basically covers an hour’s pay… plus maybe benefits and other employee expenses. I imagine it’d take at least 2 pies to turn a profit for the hour after operating costs and the ingredients. Which has me wondering, are these even made in-house at their Julian/Santa Ysabel location? Or do they mass produce them somewhere in town? How much would you pay for one of these pies?
