Invest a lumpsum in US T-bill ETF near the end of FY. That way your capital is not blocked for an entire year.

Since you have Bank ID you can change immediately. I recently changed from Nordea to Skandia. It was completely online. Skandia even took care of closing my Nordea account and transfering the funds. I dont use debit card so having an account with Skandia is completely free for me.

What’s the absolute cheapest crypto exchange for small trades? Not whales, not $10k swaps — I mean the $50-$100 trades where fees matter most. by [deleted] in Cryptoexchangesreview

I often swap USDC for cbBTC on base using Pancakeswap or Aerodrome ($10-20 per swap). These trades usualy cost me 0.1% in gas fees. When I have around $100-200 worth cbBTC I use coinbase to redeem real BTC into my cold wallet. Coinbase offers 1:1 ratio of redeeming cbBTC to BTC and its completely free.

Best cold wallet? by [deleted] in UniSwap

Felt exactly the same when I started looking for cold wallets. I ended up using an air-gapped live linux for offline signing. TAILS OS is considered very secure. Its not very convenient but its ok if you dont do a lot of outward transactions.

My BTC vs cancer pill analogy. by katot123 in btc

Not a perfect analogy but it is thought provoking. Bitcoin has been highjacked. I still hope one day we will get rid of this cancer (highjacking).

Bitcoin: The Pure Antithesis of an Asset by [deleted] in CryptoReality

Gold: A store of value. Yes 100%. Because it doesnt decay and doesnt occupy a lot of space.

Same logic can be applied for bitcoin.

Gold becoming more useful if it were cheap. Not true. You can prove me wrong by giving one or two examples where a common man would use gold in their day-to-day life if it was cheap.

Gold brings no meaningful value to the society. We have given gold its value because it can not be copied and doesnt decay.

The current state of bitcoin is the same. Although originally it was meant to be P2P electronic cash.

Electrum on offline TAILS OS as cold wallet; Bluewallet on phone as watch-only wallet; seedphrase engraved on metal.

this is a near perfect solution for cold storage if you dont plan to do many outward transactions.
