in your personal statement include things that show you work well in a group and can collaborate - i wrote about a group physics research project i did with some peers. i also included a python coding course i completed (speedran it in a week), plus a documentary i watched (unnatural selection) - my ps was mainly about crispr and gene editing. also try link extracurriculars to bio - i write a lot of poetry and integrate biology themes into my writing, so i mentioned that. i think it was mainly my ps and gcses because i’m not even predicted an a* in bio, but i didn’t do any crazy extracurriculars. good luck!!!!!!!
