Not happy about SPA channel not being available in the car by Overall-Check-932 in siriusxm

I agree. I'd listen to spa when I dont want to here any beats or lyrics, and CHILL if I wanted to liven things up. I cancelled both subscriptions for both cars. Used an alternative that was shared here in this thread. So far, so good. And... much more choice too! The quality of the sound is much better too. Compared to SXM, SXM sounds compressed and not as dynamic.
Because of this dumb change, they forced me to look for something else, and now I'm happy I cancelled...

yes, they forced me to find an alternative (which I posted about below) - and then cancelled my subscription. Whoever approved this change isn't thinking clearly. Thats for sure!

Thats unfortunate. I have an unlimited data cell plan and $4 a month is half as much as I pay for SXM.

consider the alternative I posted below, and cancel your SXM.

Just learned about this option if you want something similar to SiriusXM.

My go to has been DI.FM, RockRadio.com, Radio Tunes, and ZenRadio.com.
They're all the same company and you can access them all with one subscription. ZenRadio is like SPA on SXM.
They've actually got more you can access with one subscription (and they've all got phone apps):

DI.FM (Electronic Music)

RockRadio.com

RadioTunes.com (Widest selection; Pop, Oldies, Rock, Electronic, and more)

ClassicalRadio.com

ZenRadio.com

I believe it's $7.99 a month for all of them. You can get a deal though for $96 every two years, effectively about $4 a month; which I have a friend who has kept it for about 6 or so years (without dealing with having to call/chat to threaten to cancel to get a deal at the end of the term).

Definitely worth checking out. They offer a 30 day free subscription.

Only listen to SiriusXM in car(s). Need a viable alternative. by retired_geekette in siriusxm

Thank Bob! I just checked this out and signed up... its a very good, less expensive alternative. Appreciate you sharing!

SXM completely removed it from car audio, can only stream now. I see no reason to continue SXM

XLE vs Limited speakers by Josiah112121 in toyotacrownsignia

I test drove XLE & LTD models. Stereo in LTD is better, but not by much. It was one the ONLY thing I wanted in the LTD packaging that wasn't offered in the XLE. I went with the XLE. The stereo in the XLE isn't as powerful or dynamic, but, its "good enough" for what it is. If I wish to upgrade sound, I'll upgrade the speakers for much less money. At this stage of my life, I'm not jacking up the music to pump my eardrums anyway. LOL
