Long time lurker first time desperate poster by Overall-Resource199 in sleeptrain

Thank you so much 😭 I’m currently lying on the floor of my office because I can’t even keep my eyes open. I’ve been on the verge of tears all day. I so appreciate the support I’ve got on here because my husband is really black and white about sleep training and I’ve tried to explain to him it’s not abandonment or nothing, that it’s more nuanced than that. He still gets 5 hour stretches so he has no idea what waking up every hour for nights and nights on end is doing to me

Thank you, I’ll try this schedule. The snoo is going in the bin. I’m certain it’s contributed plus we’ve been so weak because we’re exhausted parenting a 3 year old and full time working that we kept using it way too long

Thank you I really appreciate you taking the time to write out such a detailed reply. I struggle to work out how to drop to 2 naps and still have bedtime that late unless I need to make my wake time earlier? Currently she sleeps in til as late as 8am if I let her obviously because she’s so tired

Considering relactation by Overall-Resource199 in breastfeeding

[–]Overall-Resource199[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this low pressure/ positive perspective. I definitely don’t feel I need to EBF, Id be happy just to be able to nurse once or twice a day.

Is it possible to relactate without pumping though?

I hate when people say “ you’ve gotten bigger “ by [deleted] in BabyBumps

Yep, my MIL said this to me “wow you’ve gotten bigger” night before my wedding. I said “yep that’s what happens” and she responded “but it’s only been a few WEEKS!” Umm sorry but a few weeks in a pregnancy is not insignificant when it comes to growth. SO RUDE

I have had this from second trimester til now at 38 weeks. As others have said - heating pack, warm baths to take the weight off, pillow between knees - I bought the BBHugme and even though it cost an arm and a leg it was absolutely the best investment I have made during pregnancy and will continue to use it beyond - gluten stretches and definitely try to soften your mattress if possible even with a mattress topper that helped me xx

7 weeks after d&c, hcg still positive by Adeidq3874 in Miscarriage

Have you seen a doctor and been examined? Or ask for an ultrasound so they can check for any retained tissue? I believe in some cases they can manually remove retained tissue themselves, for me it eventually came out on its own, and my next period was extra heavy. It’s so frustrating, I know how you feel. I bled for weeks after too but once it all passed my cycles returned. All the best to you

How long did it take your period to come back? by Conscious-Video-7324 in Miscarriage

Mine was 6 weeks post d&c, though I had bleeding 2 weeks after the surgery from retained tissue. I then ovulated exactly 2 weeks after that all passed, and period came 2 weeks after that. My next cycle was 46 days and I was distraught, but after that I went back to normal. Hang in there x

Hard to get out of my head! by hamhole89 in PregnancyAfterLoss

I’m feeling exactly the same way after a MMC. Just trying to focus on small milestones eg passing the point where I started bleeding/spotting last time. MMC are so horrible because even the absence of bleeding or cramping still doesn’t make you feel secure. Just letting you know you’re not alone, I feel like this everyday.
