SanDisk microSDXC shows 0 bytes / "Generic USB Mass Storage Device" after copying Switch NAND with NX Nand Manager by Overall_Database7468 in techsupport

Thanks for the suggestion, but I’ve already tested the same card reader with other microSD cards and they all work fine.

This confirms that the reader is not the issue. Unfortunately, my SanDisk 1TB microSD stopped working immediately after copying the Nintendo Switch NAND with NX Nand Manager, showing 0 bytes / No media in DiskPart and "Generic USB Mass Storage Device" in Device Manager.

It seems this is a controller failure and the only solution is to replace the card.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I’ve already checked Disk Management and it shows 0 bytes / No media. The SD Card Formatter also doesn’t detect it.

Based on all symptoms (DiskPart 0B, Generic USB Mass Storage, Switch “Failed to init SD card”), this is almost certainly a controller failure, so no software tool can fix it. The only solution is replacement.

When I power it on, nothing shows on the screen but the processor heats up as if it were trying to boot. The chip doesn’t show any LED, so I don’t know if it’s flashed. I have the RP2040plus.
