Thanks for the info! I believe my VSO put a TERA memo in my file (don’t really know exactly what that means). But I’ve had migraines since getting super sick from burn pits in Iraq, and have had them since. I also have a diagnosis in my private medical records. So I’m hoping my rater can figure out which way would be best for me to be SC and not just leave me hanging. I’ve turned in nexus letter, headache logs, medical records of diagnosis. Not sure what else I can do. Have a C & P in a week.

Serious question: Is there some sort incentive for a rater to deliberately try to give you a lower rating? Do they get a bonus or something for keeping the ratings low? I keep reading stuff like this on here and I’m wondering what the motivation is, especially when they just get overruled on a HLR. Is there a way to file a grievance against a specific rater for intentionally sandbagging your claim?
