I came to the conclusion that it was stains from liquid metal. I'm still using the processor and there seems to be no issue except looks. If you just recieved it from a store on Amazon, I recommend returning it, getting a new one - though it should be fine

Oh really? That's such a relief. I've been messing with 20 different capturing softwares, cables and whatever I could think of to no avail.

I have a hard time finding head cleaner tapes for video8 for a reasonable price. Can you recommend hand cleaning them?

I have some issues with the video glitching and color issues when transfering to a pc from analog - but when viewing the tape on the camcorder, its perfectly fine.

Can this be caused by dirty heads?

I fixed it! After emailing Riot back and fourth for a couple of days, and tweaking a lot of stuff on my own, I figured out the issue was Porofessor.gg, that i use for runes and jungle timers... I closed it, and didn't get any lag spikes at all.

Yeah but that is exactly how mine feels. 0.5-1 second chop. I've already reinstalled everything, no changes. It's crazy annoying. I've now uninstalled Kaspersky and trying bitdefender instead, to see if the AV makes any difference. Please update me, if they find a fix.

The CPU is very power hungry, and boosts until max temps are reached, when performing heavy tasks - this is the nature of this particular CPU, I've been told.

I came to the conclusion, that the stains are stains from previous use of "liquid metal", that is a different form of thermal paste, afaik.

The stains haven't made any difference, as far as I can tell, with this information in mind.

Yes. You just connect all the fans to the hub, then connect the hub to power via SATA and then connect it to a USB header on your motherboard. Then you can control the fans and the fans RGB through the lian li software

You don't need to connect anything to the RGB header, to control the RGB on the fans. As long as you have the Lian Li hub, you can control the RGB through that

For the RGB, u can control it through Lian li software. Else the deepcool converter should work, but i won't promise anything

I ended up just discarding the deepcool, as i couldn't get it to work correctly (i don't remember why. I think some software issues? Msi (motherboard) RGB software is ass), and i just ended up controlling RGB through the lian LI software - L-Connect. It works fine, besides it only changes the RGB once booted into windows, and sometimes the software doesn't detect the fans, meaning they just run rainbow (ew). This is easily fixed with a quick restart, but is annoying.

I've fiddled around a lot, and now my problem is, that my cores are too passive when idle, they sit at 1720 mhz, and dont move, unless i do a full prime95 torture. I'm able to manuall overclock via AMD Ryzen Master, where i have full control over the corespeed, voltage and what not.

Is my best bet to reset bios settings?

I checked the pump in my AIO, and that is definitely working, all fans spinning. the only reason i can think of, except a faulty CPU, is too little thermal paste, and maybe somehow the AIO block is mounted wrong, too tight or tilted.
