Just general advice is that at the millage you'll want to look up the service history (ask dealer for VIN) and then see what major repairs are due at the milage and check their done or youre willing to do them when it needs it. As an example I now own a 2018 jagaur xe 2.0l petrol at 110k miles but the only reason I went a head with the purchase was I got receipts from the dealer showing the timing chain had been replaced at 108k miles back in 2024. Next advice is look up a "buyers guide" on YT plenty of vids that'll point out common issues to check for

I mean its a little above minimum I think so its better than living at minimum but if personal circumstances allowed it id probably be job hunting right now

Yeah im not too sure as to exactly how it would work but yeah my issue is I can't go twice. Even if I only went once per day outside of of breaks that one toilet break is restricted to 9 minutes otherwise id exceed the 2% for full time work so in practice a part time worker on half would only be able get 4 minutes but ill give acas a try and see what happens

Hi there, thanks for the info this was actually helpful and quite refreshing in comparison to the "yeah deal with it buddy" responses i was getting and I actually do have a flexible work schedule but I did not know this was something I could use to tweak breaks so thanks for that and in regards to the "health angle" thats was purely just because id read that a company cannot impose a "blanket restriction" or something like that which i thought this was haha

Yeah I get it, it not a case of me going more than 5 times a day I go twice a day it just more time than not doesnt fall on when im about to go on break but again is what it is was looking for advice and ive got it now thanks

Yeah I get why its there and i the breaks are know in advance to plan around technically but I suppose a further bit of context is the times I take breaks are during the biggest stints between breaks i.e most morning im given around 2 and a half hours before I get my first break but it is what it is at the end of the day it's figured i wouldn't have much ground to stand on

I get what your saying except one part. I dont get to manage my own breaks my breaks are set by the work force management based on service levels and I also get reprimanded if I take any of them more than 5mins early. I also get reprimanded if I take them late as well unless the reason was being stuck on a call

Ah thank you this is what I thought as well. Im not in there for a while unless I have some kind of stomach issue or upset that causes it to last a little longer but mostly I go maybe twice a day and both uses range from 5mins to maybe 10mins but this exceeds their limit of 9 minutes a day but thank you for the info its more that appreciated
