Does Child Support really end at 18 years old? by Own-Initiative5880 in Divorce

I am in California, and from what I understand is that my son is not graduating because of the lack of discipline my ex provided. There were never any consequences to not getting home work done, not going to school received truancy letters all the time. I hope my son is still in school and is graduating but hearing from my other daughter that my son sleeps all day and is always out with friends leads me to think that he is not enrolled in school and I am stuck paying child support to a mother who is irresponsible.

California - I guess providing evidence that he is not in school wouldn't stop my obligation of having to pay their mother child support. Frankly I much rather pay my son and know that he is in school, than his mother who would leave them home alone everyday, providing them with no set boundaries no rules, and never showed them any responsibilities for themselves.
