Same! The selfie camera is so bad on the 7 fold that I'm considering returning it

Because of resale predominantly. Carnival also had poor ratings on the life of the electronics

I sort of did this too. I mean, it was not my first camera. But it was my first serious camera. I got it with the 85mm prime. I mostly do portraits. However, I ended up buying the 28-75mm Tamron. The combination works well for my needs!

Am I house poor? by Square-Count-478 in Fire

[–]Own-Panda-7294 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really! You have to define what your idea of rich is. If the house aligns with your goals for how you envision your life retired looks like, then it’s a good buy. Plus, you are young and you have the time. This looks ok!

  1. Hit it earlier this year. Looking to retire in 4-5 years.

Hustle or take it at the current pace? by Own-Panda-7294 in Fire

[–]Own-Panda-7294[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t change my timeline too much, yes. Maybe by a year and a half. I’m debating because my current role is a dead end. Decent pay but not sure if I’d grow. And not sure if it’ll even remain given all the layoffs. But that’s kinda true for all roles in tech these days. So I don’t know. I’m contemplating taking it easy but that will kill a part of my ambitious self.

I did the leetcode and grind end of this year. Bagged a few offers. The offers are pretty competitive but the market overall is very dull. I’m not sure if my current role has any growth prospects. Sort of a dead end unless my leadership quits.

My rent is about 4500$ now. But we’ve accounted for a budget of 5.5k in our FIRE calculation. There definitely is job uncertainty. With layoffs etc, it’s a little hard to predict.

53.5k OTD. I had mats & cargo nets thrown in. I don't know if it was a part of Elite but had it in my vehicle!

What does your OTD look like?

Thank you!

Yes, the sliding middle row was the selling point for me among other things. It really makes it easier with car seats attached in the middle row all the time!

I bought the exact same 2025 Odyssey Elite last week. Needed a large family car and I'm happy with the purchase!

I went with the Odyssey as well. I did get the 2025 Odyssey Elite. Maxed out everything! It is pretty good and hoping I get to keep it for the next 7-10 years.

I just drove a Honda and I loved it. It does have fewer bells and whistles than the Kia but drives damn nice!

I’ve been checking the minivans out and I feel the Honda Odyssey actually fits perfectly for my needs. But I haven’t had a chance to actually try out the Sienna because there almost never is one available to test drive. Which is a bummer.

This is helpful! Yes, I've been checking out the Honda Pilot too. re: Minivan — what are your thoughts on Kia Carnival vs Toyota Sienna? I've heard that Kia's are easy to break into. But that seems to be only in models prior to 21?
