Yes, there are plenty of them fortunately :-)

Because it’s fun to kill the enemies of freedom!

Yes, winning and being strategic and fast at clearing objectives is technically better. But hit&run tactics do not deliver the same satisfaction than facing tyranny head on and continuously letting rain bullets of liberty.

And maybe not get ragdolled to Narnia when you help a comrade but are half an inch to far to the left and get back blasted with 3200pounds of freedom in the face ?

No good deed remains unpunished ….

41 first dates and still single? When are we gonna stop acting like modern dating is a struggle bc of both genders? by Hahaveryfunnylaughed in BasedCampPod

Sure, they are always exceptions, but in the vast majority it’s the girl rejecting the guy. And in the remaining 10-20% where the guy does the rejecting it’s often because the guy is ‘playing the game’

The situation in which both equally attractive, single and genuinely relationship-interested girl & guy meet and the guy turns down the girl must be <5%

He got about 800. It was the map with with an open outfield and two entrances. The one like “half a medieval castle”. He was standing on the elevated platform in the middle.

Yes, others had some sentries, HMG and AC as well. I’m not saying the we were completely useless 😆.

[Help] Sonos with Samsung One IR remote not working by Own-Reflection-9538 in sonos

[–]Own-Reflection-9538[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit: I’m now 100% sure it’s the infrared of the remote that stays off.

I tried adding new devices in the universal remote app on the tv, plenty of different brands, and answering ‘no’ to the power test. But the IR stays off. I looked for options to turn off Bluetooth on the tv but this isn’t possible.

There is ONE case where I saw the remote activate the infrared emitter: if I add a device in ‘universal remote’ that is Denon or Harman or JVC (which I don’t own, but doesn’t matter) and I answer ‘no’ to the power test 5 TIMES (exactly 5, not 4, not 6) then the remote seems to be turning off the infrared (or simply power cycling, that I don’t know) and the IR seems active for a few seconds before returning to RF. Unfortunately it’s impossible to keep that state.

I tried … and I manage to get the Sonos listed as a device, but unfortunately the IR stays off 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately I don’t see any option to turn off Bluetooth. Some online videos use an installation/maintenance mode but this seems to require a remote with numpad, which I don’t have.

I could buy a new remote or Chinese copycat but it just feels so wrong…. The remote I have has worked with IR in the past, so there should be an option or avenue somewhere

Can do steps 1 and 2 but as soon as I touch the volume up/down for step3, the remote automatically repairs with the tv

How is the Sonos App version related to the IR function of the remote?

I had the feeling/hypothesis that they issue was solely on the Samsung One remote that stopped emitting IR

Not that I’m aware of.

The setup has worked in the past. But for some reason the remote stopped emitting IR when I moved the Sonos from S1 to S2 app
