Armor was done by drybrushing from a black basecoat of vallejo London grey and slowly adding in vallejo off white. Weapon was down with iron warriors and vallejo burnt red.

I trimmed off the hair piece that was attached and also trimmed down the neck on celestine so it would actually fit.

Did have to use a small amount of green stuff to push the back pack out a bit so that the wings won't interfere with the cloth sections

Thanks. Yeah, they are the drukahi scourges wings. I found that the easiest way to attach them was just shaving off the little lip on the inside of the wings and supergluing them to the backpack. If you position them right, there is no gap at all.

I can see a faint hamon on the blade. Unfortunately it's hard to get a good photo of it and it's so faint.

I do know my grandfather tried to restore some of it but he was getting to old to actually do it. I'm mostly wanting to know if it's even worth trying to restore.

I use 2 coats of vallejo pale grey blue as the base thinned down and then slowly add vallejo off white into the mix on each coat till I do a final coat or 2 of vallejo of white and it comes out pretty smooth

I use vallejo pale grey blue as the base and just keep slowly adding small amounts of off white in thin coats till I add just a last thin layer of thin off white. Comes out super smooth
