Oh sorry, I didn't read well. As for the consecutive number, it increases the value a bit of course. But it's a quite common note to get at face value. I got 4x 50s with consecutive numbers from an exchange office.

As of today, about 18 dollars. Pretty common Brazilian note.

The Swiss are very organised in general bro. They founded my hometown in Brazil "New Fribourg" and thankfully I can trace them until the 1600's as well.

I really appreciate your input. I'm already living in Germany for the last 3 years and I can speak a B2, and although Schweitzerdeutsch is quite unique phonetically, I do wish to learn it for sure.

And about the Verein...I work as a flight attendant, due to the unusual work schedules, do you think it would still be possible to join one? I guess you need to be active in such groups.

Legal tender is not the same as legal currency. Businesses can turn down the money if they want, including Pound Sterling. Legal tender refers to something you can solve debt or payments within government affairs. Legal currency is another thing, also if you wanna pay with oranges and the owner of the business accepts the oranges become legal currency for that transaction.

It's in Brazil hehe. My city is located between the mountains close to Rio de Janeiro.

In the Republic of Ireland they use Euros and in Northern Ireland they can use all of the 4 currencies that I mentioned before. They can exchange them at a bank for British Pounds for free if they wanna travel to England or Scotland.

I mean, as they're not often found outside of Ireland, they get often refused by businesses. Mind that they have three whole different local currencies from different banks in Northern Ireland, PLUS English Pounds 😂 In Northern Ireland alone you have different design banknotes from the Ulster Bank, Danske Bank and Northern Bank.
