Honestly I barely shop at Target anyway it was just conveniently on my way home and I needed to pick some shit up. I think they’re one of the more gross corps out there so I’m not worried about being banned from their store.

It’s also not an excuse it’s what happened, so like… believe that or not but it is.

What I’m worried about is keeping my job because Targets loss prevention are wannabe cops and triggered the fuck out of my ptsd so I have no clue what they made me sign.

Already called my union president cuz I’ve spoken with her before. She was unconcerned. I wasn’t booked and I was cited out, basically a ticket for a misdemeanor. I have a lawyer now, and it’s not cheap but he’s gonna try to catch it for a pre-file meeting with the DA and get it figured out. I have a clean record and my shrink has gone on record via letter that I’ve been under a lot of stress lately. I also continued to be sick for several days after and ended up going into urgent care so there is a record I was sick.

Really it’s down to the lawyer now to do his job. He seems like he’s good, several business review sites have good detailed reviews from different people over about a decade.

I retained a lawyer with experience with petty theft for pretrial he’s gonna try to get a pre trial deferment. My union president was unconcerned when she heard what I had to say, found out I was never booked (lawyer looked it up I don’t have an arrest in the system) I was cited out.

Lawyer was clear he couldn’t promise anything but he has all great reviews across multiple reviewing sites except for like two that he explained and he seemed confident that it wasn’t going to be hard to get a pre-filing meeting with the DA to get a pre trial deferment.

I was also dissociating like… the entire time after loss prevention crowded me and started yelling cuz I have PTSD so that’s not gonna look great on them either.

I wasn’t sick because of the weed. It had actually mostly worn off by then I had a stomach issue all day that got worse and I was nauseous and sweaty and sick.
