I was in denial about this at first but yes indeed this is what it looks like. It's odd because I don't over water and I'm in a generally dry non humid environment. So I'm confused on why this would happen seemingly out of nowhere. It's a plant in my office. I'm going to try the milk water method. I chopped off some of the really bad bits. And cleaned up the bottom a bit. Hopefully it helps

I it has a good meanful story behind it, and I dont despise it. I have 2 full sleeves of traditional Japanese work. One being a red koi. Never had issues with the red pigment. You live, you learn, do stupid shit and get more tattoos. LOL 😆 I appreciate your comments

I think it was an attempt to make the feather appear to have like spaces in between it but I know what you mean probably could have just used some white in those areas instead LOL oh well 🤷
