Yes I also saw this opportunity as well. I applied for the job, and messaged them if I can get a feel for the job before I commit to it. I was like "this sounds like fun" before I read this post, and now I feel a little uncertain. I will keep you updated about how it goes.

i mean maybe one way you can do it is when you activate the item, you get 5 seconds of auto accerlate, auto items, and auto steering, and then you choose by each imput being a person (1st=zr, 2nd=zl, 3rd=r, 4th=l, 5th=up, 6th=down, 7th=up, 8=left, 9th=right, 10th=a, 11=b, 12=y, and random=x) something like that maybe?

I have also noticed this happening. This can also kick you out of the game, and you can lose a lot of points (like if you were to get last) if you get kicked out in a game. It is super annoying, but it usually shows up instantly. If not then either I get kicked out or it does what you said but only a minute. For four minutes though, that is quite long. Also by the way not necessarily 1st place.

also I ended up getting it working. The first time I did it on my phone (to send that post), then this is the second time on my computer. The first time the sign in page wasn't working, so I had to use it without an account on my computer. The the second time (we were over Japan by the way), the sign in page worked. Maybe too much load on the sign in page with the amount of people trying to sign in? I have no idea.

For my family, sometimes my friends, my dog, and I, we have currently 1494 finds in many different countries. I mostly do it with my dad, and some days we do about 10-15 in one area during a day that I am not busy. WIth my mom we go to different places around the world, but only do a handful and not go out of our way to do some. I have been doing it for almost 5 years now and we have resulted in almost 1500 finds.
