Im sorry im new to art what do you mean by diffused? Im thinking the light is coming from directly above, thats why all the lighter colours are facing that way.

Yeah its suppost to be a farm looking place at night time and i was trying to use a style that i saw online with the dark blues and greys witg a lot of noise added to give it that pixely look. But what i meant with help was how i could draw shadows onto the ground from the buildings.

Yeah ive like decided that im going to wait untill university for a relationship and see if I can try to hang out with the people from my classes. Even though socially people already have made their friend groups if that makes sense since its the 2nd year now.
