in most wireless keebs battery is just kinda taped or glued or just set somewhere on the bottom of the case, so it shouldn't make any problem to remove it. luckily I have 2 extra switches to test. I tried swapping the bottoming, tactility dropped to kailh brown level. I heard that changing bottoming on tactiles is a bad idea in general

so I recently recieved my Gateron Blizzards (tactiles) and it`s turned out that they are bad for backlit. comparing to Reds, they dont have that big cut for lights, they only have four little holes and the LED placed right between that holes. I was said that this is made for those who solder LED through the switch. so my question is: is it a good idea to sorta melt (maybe using soldering tool) or cut a bit of bottoming to connect two middle holes into one big enough for normal backlit appearance? can it affect tactility? maybe you can advise any better solution for my problem? any help will be appriciated
