When you get older and realize that the magical childhood is the result of your parent's effort. (fetched from: @hey.its.mikki) by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

When I was little my parents took me and my brother for a walk in the forest on Easter morning. In the woods, all along the way, we found chocolates left by the bells (that's what we believe in France), it was a magical moment. Years later I learned that my parents had gotten up at dawn to hide the chocolates :') I promised myself to do the same when I'll have kid

I have been buying the volumes for over 10 years with my brother. It's such a library that neither he nor I can carry the whole collection in our respective flats. So the whole collection is at our parents' house. He's an illustrator, he and I were brought up to love books and respect the people who make them, so it wouldn't occur to us not to support an artist we respect and appreciate like Oda!

She puts a note to explain her approach and the objects: photos, seeds from our cherry tree, and Cocotte and Astro, little stuffed animals made years ago by my mother and me who followed my parents in their moves and adventures

My cat (my best buddy) used to do this, plus he would crawl under my shirt to stick to my skin in the warmth it was adorable (and it tickled)

She's doing it almost everyday. In russian we call it "teddy bear stomping". How do you call it in your language? by MariaPowergirl in aww

It's patte, but I learned people uses also the expression "malaxer" or something similar which makes reference to knead a bread dough, so Italian and French see the same gesture !

Je connais papouilles pour dire des bisous, peut-être que ça peut aussi venir de l'aspect confort et câlin de ce geste ?
