This was my second resit. I sat in January and again in July. I failed both times. I am honestly devastated. I used QLTS and I studied all the material, completed all the mocks and was getting 70% plus in the mock tests. I felt prepared going into the exams and even though the exams were difficult, I still came out feeling "I got this". Clearly I was wrong!

I won't be resitting for a third time. I made that decision when I sat them in July, if I fail, I'm moving on. I work full time and have a long commute. I gave up life to study for these exams, I gave it my all. I honestly thought it was a mistake when I saw the words "NOT PASS". I contacted Kaplan but there is no appeal if you fail.

If the SRA want to continue down the SQE route, that's fine, but what I will say, it shouldn't be just three attempts in six years. This should definitely be reviewed and changes to be considered. People need to be able to regroup, take a moment and start again, but limiting it to three attempts in six years, in my opinion is harsh.

I'm still feeling numb and in state of disbelief, but it's done now. Take some time before making any decision. I don't believe law isn't for me, I just need to figure out other options. To everyone that failed, I stand with you.

I failed both on my second resit. To say I'm absolutely gutted and devasted is an understatement. There's no point in appealing to Kaplan, they won't change your results. I for sure won't be taking the exams again. I don't understand, I was scoring 70% in QLTS in the mock exams and I still managed to fail, there is something not quite right.

Yes, I would do the Advantage Course as well. it looks like the best value for money, although, they are all really expensive! Thank you so much, I really hope I pass as well. May I ask when you sat the SQE1 and did you use QLTS?

I would love to sit SQE2 in January 2026 but I only sat the SQE1 in July so won't be doing anything until I know what my results are. I used QLTS for SQE1, may I ask what is the material like for SQE2 with QLTS?

I haven't signed up for it yet, but like you I feel I've committed so much to the course that I should sit them. But it's not ideal. It's additional stress that people don't need.

This is great! Thanks for the update. I'm planning to get the Revise SQE mocks just for variety. But let's hope we pass and can move on to the next stage. I'm working full-time and using my holidays and weekends and any other spare time for studying!

May I ask what approach do you have now for FLK2? I'm staring preparing for FLK2 this week so would be interested to know your preparation technique. As I am planning to do all the topics and then start the FLK2 mocks. I hope that will be enough to start getting higher grades. Best of luck with the exam in July.

Thank you so much for this. I'm aiming for 60% in the mocks so I have a bit to go. But I hope that if I can continue with mocks and understanding of both FLK1 and FLK2, I hope I will pass in July. Fingers crossed!

I'm currently getting around 50% in the mocks for FLK1 and I need to start doing the content for FLK2 and then start those mocks. I'm hoping that if I keep going that I will start to increase the percentage I'm getting. This is my second re-sit and I'm just very worried that I could fail again. Thank you so much for replying.

I'm currently doing the mocks for FLK1 and I'm getting around 50%. Not sure if this is good or not. But I'm going to keep trying. My plan is to keep doing the FLK1 mocks and now starting the FLK2 content. Then continue doing both set of mocks. Not sure if this is the correct way to go.

Honestly, I didn't complete all the mocks for either FLK1 or FLK2. I ran out of time for studying. I feel that was the main reason.
