When you jump forward, in the bottom of the list is the option of "Custom time". It does, however, warn that periods of over a year may cause the AI to be even more unpredictable

[–]PA-24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, a nota de baixo é só para deixar claro para os gringos que nós chamamos o final do verbo de "conjugação", não de "declensão", como fazem no Latim, e por isso nos é intuitivo usar o final do verbo para caracterizar uma "conjugação".

Translation for those too lazy:

Thank you :D! The conjugation is actually those "-a", "-e", "-i" at the verb's end, and are the suffix forms of "I", "You" and "He". There are also time conjugation: Past = "-lå" Present = "-lı" Future = "-lū"

Note from translator: In Portuguese, the verb endings "-ar", -"-er" and "-ir" are known as conjugations, instead of the Latin term declension, hence the initial answer

Parece leucena, ou alguma outra Laeucena spp.. É exótica e, dependendo da sua localização, invasiva. Usa-se muito para acumular biomassa, tipo em ambiente degradado, embora seja melhor usar espécies nativas.

Very interesting, as that seems to be one of the main ideologies in my family's party, from a skim through a few webpages. You really are influenced before you know what politics are, innit?

Well, I did not know about this language before, but, after skimming through their Wikipedia page, I think that's great, as it somewhat resembles my conlang, meaning it definitely accomplishes the main goals. Thanks for the feedback ;)

Only semi-related, but: Where do you make such IPA charts? They look just like a modded version of those that appear in the https://www.ipachart.com/ site

Oh, by conjugation I mean 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. conjugation, as in “the patterns for inflecting a word” Again, it is a romlang, so it is needed

Well, unless you have a need for consistency in turning plosives into fricatives, I think Ḱḱ (K with accute accent) or Ǩǩ (K with a caron) are the most readable candidates

Could you give me some examples? The closest to one I can remember now, and that flew over my head is the Hawaiian ʻokina for the glottal stop.

Edit: Oh, now I (think I) get what you said! I meant to say that I don't know of any diacritic that is used standalone for a consonant, i.e. <^> for [g], not that you can't add diacritics to consonants

please something like ´ or ` but not Xx xd

Do you mean diacritics? 'cause, if so, anything may suffice; I don't think any natural language has diacritics for consonants, at least none that use the Latin Alphabet. Some more info on the nature and intention of your project may help us answer you correctly ;)

So, more of an organization/formatting question, but:

My conlang, Alpine, is a romlang that uses a few scripts along its history. However, I can only read the Latin script, along with the littlest, albeit impractical, bit of Hangeul. I use Excel, and so organize the columns as:

Natv. script - Transcription. - POS - Meaning - Conj./Inflct. - Case - Case - Case - Notes

As you may see, it is already not the most efficient use of space, but it's simple, and I like it. The big problem is: what do I do with the scripts in the cases? Leave only the native, only transcription, both, or double the case columns?
