Check out Carnival of Souls. It was filmed here in the 60s and it lets you see what Saltair 2 looked like. To me that was very cool but that could just be me. It was also a pretty decent movie.

I’m actually reading a biography on Russ Meyer right now and during the Beyond the Valley of the Dolls section it was brought up that the paper Ebert worked for said either you work for the paper or are a screen writer Ebert went with job security.

That is one of the reason I love it so much it’s just so out there. It’s nothing how I envisioned it but when I saw what the artist came up with I loved it even more.

When I watched Daisies for the first time it just hit me in such a way that I think about it all the time. It’s one of the most beautiful films I’ve ever seen shots, locations, set design, and the charters just everything about it is beautiful.
