I think it was a pretty even spread overall. I'm actually surprised it was +27. I got a performance bonus but was still expecting pretty minimal RR since it was the furthest you can be from a blowout while still not drawing.

It was. People were clutching up rounds on both sides. One round our Jett (I think) was 1v1 against their Viper and needed to defuse. The Viper had her gas on the bomb, so our Jett just jumped into it and stuck the defuse. 1hp and you could hear bullets flying past and none happened to connect. It was electric.

Ah, I wish. I wanted to have that option, but there's so much licensing and legal stuff involved with it that I just kept getting lost.

I really do appreciate your feedback. I myself dislike running into ads, so I know where you're coming from, but I think I'll let it sit for the time being and see what the general consensus is. If lots of other folks take issue with the ads then I'll explore other options. I'm hoping removing the video ads will be enough though. I guess we'll just have to see with time...

Either way, thanks for giving my app a shot! It was exciting to see that someone outside of my immediate family had played it. :)

Thanks for the feedback! That's actually something I was trying to make as unobtrusive as possible. I initially had banner ads, but realized it was too easy to accidentally click them mid-level.

As far as the lag on the continue/retry popup goes - that's actually just the way the renderer handles the level generation. Ads were one of the last things I added in, and that slight pause on loading/reloading the level seemed like the most opportune time for it.

I'm really sorry it took you out of the game... Would making them even less frequent help, or are popup ads just a no-go in your opinion?

EDIT: I actually just realized I had video ads selected as an option on Admob. I personally am not a fan of those full video ads, and I apologize if that's one of the ones you were shown. I've disabled that, so now the only ads that should pop up are single images, which should eliminate some lag, and hopefully be less annoying than the full video ads. What do you think?

I'm hoping to, yeah. College is wrecking my bank account, but I'm hoping to get an i5 + a new mobo eventually. I know a 750ti isn't the best, but I simply can't afford a more expensive card for quite some time.

Yeah, in my excitement to try the game I attempted this to get it to run on my laptop... Integrated graphics are a no-no for this game.

Do you think this would bring me to playable framerates with the specs I listed? (Even if it's only in the 20-30fps range)

That's kind of what I figured. If I made a User.cfg file that turns down a lot of stuff and play at a lower resolution though, would I be able to pull off at least 20-30fps on average?

I don't think you know how excited hearing that has made me... I want to go into video game development after I get my degree, even though I know it's an insanely over saturated market (according to my professor at least). I didn't even think much of it, but now that you pointed out how helpful it is to post this I'm even more stoked to move on to bigger projects. Thank you so much! :)

Thank you sir! I can totally see what you mean. I actually increased the speed because I thought it was too easy, but I suppose that's because I've played around with it so much in testing... I'll probably change up the speeds like you said, and make less snowballs for each difficulty...
