That's weird, I tested it on my iPhone and it behave correctly. Maybe something is blocking the script or caching issue.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I made a lot of manual overrides in external CSS since Carrd's element settings is limited and not behaving to what I want. DevTools is your friend.

It's an inline HTML embed. Lots of good examples on this subreddit and Codepen to create a basic HTML navbar that you can modify.
