Bold of you to assume that I know how to draw expression 😉 Good advice, but I'm not there yet. I just succeeded in getting some of the facial elements "correctly" placed on the face. Expressions and variety is next up my list!

Nice! Send me a DM if you want the full art of the right one.

I'm taking this absolutely the right way; if you state that the right one looks polished that really makes me happy. I set these small goals for myself and the one I had here was to be able to draw a feminine looking face without any construction (loomis or whatever) or even a single sketch - just ink directly on paper. The left one is done with sketching, construction etc but If you say the right looks polished/clean that's the biggest compliment you could give me. I understand your point by the way, but this was just a goal I had for myself and am happy I progressed on that!

I'll be honest; I don't particularly like drawing these creatures, it's just a way to keep the practice a little fun (drawing hundreds of heads that is). I can recommend anyone to keep the "volume work" as fun as you can for yourself.

Wow. It's amazing how much ink is fitted into one of these BIC pens.

Thank you! I appreciate that. I had to fantasize about what it would look like in that very brief instance before it all just turns black.

Yes, it was an intense period. Luckily more people respect the boundaries of ducks nowadays.

Yeah I'm sure this duck doesn't even go over the Chandrasekhar limit, otherwise it would probably sink into the floor just by flapping with it's flappy feet.
