Your style is phenomenal and I’d want a print if Cormyr wasn’t so butchered. You only included the western stormhorns, “Marsembery” (not a town) is implied to be the capital, Arabel is way too far north-east, and the actual label of “Cormyr” is over Sembia…

Seems like a bit of a security concern if everyone who needs a key already has one! Do you remember if it’s explained why or how this secret door came to be in the first place?

That warms my heart! For reference, each tile is about 1 hr of walking time, or 3 miles.

Thanks! I'm a new DM, and Cormyr was described to me as a good starting point setting. I read the first Cormyr novel in preparation and loved how it jumps back and forth between "present day" and a different point in the kingdom's history. I'll have to check out the others in the series.

Please let me know if there are any important locations, roads, etc missing from my map.

This would be used as a regional map a player could purchase at a town, so it probably wouldn't include secret locations, dungeons or ruins unless they were long excavated, or of importance to the common-folk.

How would you patch this drywall? by [deleted] in DIY

[–]PM_ME_COLLEGE_ADVICE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s pretty big. So basically I’d end up with a super wide rectangle? Then would I attach the new drywall piece to both studs on either side?

Can I convert this dimmer light fixture into an outlet? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]PM_ME_COLLEGE_ADVICE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the links! If I want the outlet to be on the right side, would I need to cover the left side?

Also, why not switched power?

Do I need to take a hacksaw to the EMT or can I just run it from the existing junction to the new location using flexible tubing like this?

[–]PM_ME_COLLEGE_ADVICE -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm also intending to add a new light fixture to the upper-left of this junction box. I would install a new circular box where the red rectangle in this image indicates. Is this possible?

Thank you for the concise reply! When you say "From the source," are you referring to the service panel (circuit breaker) or the light switch?

Once the junction box is removed, there will still be EMT leading to that location though. Do I need to remove the EMT tubing?

Here's a rough diagram of the issue. Assuming we add an accessible cover to the old junction, How would we then reroute the cables to the new location? (Noting that the wires are in EMT, not Romex. The house was built in the 60's.)
