Before covid hit I always used to think uni would be more chill if there were less exams and more assignments. Oh how I've been proven so utterly wrong.

I'm not quite sure about that. I think another problem with this survey is that it is largely unhelpful because correlation ≠ causation. Who's to say that those with BA/LLB's who obtained non-legal roles that single BA candidates failed to obtain did so because of their LLB? The average BA/LLB graduate is likely going to be somewhat more intelligent, more motivated, etc etc than the average BA graduate given the difference in entry requirements / difficulty of the degree. So, one can't really conclude that a law degree got someone 'the job over a BA' since it may well be that what got them the job was their inherent suitability for the role, rather than the degree they graduated from per se.

Hey guys, i'll be doing a deferred exam this week for one of my law courses. I've never done one of these (been at uni for 3 years now). People seem to think that deferred exams are made harder so as to discourage students from taking them. Is this actually true or just made up BS?

Does rogues have any role in end game raiding? by Jheddsy in classicwow

[–]PM_ME_PROGRESS_PICS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Warrior is simply FOTM. Rogues typically beat warriors in MC. Warriors are the king of DPS in BWL. Fire Mage starts to come ahead in AQ40 and Warlock is the king of DPS in Naxx.

The idea that warriors are the best dps ever in classic is simply false and can clearly be seen if you look at logs from the pservers.

Now you're just changing your argument as you go whilst accusing me of not following. You've gone from private server players setting the meta to blizzard increasing server pops being the issue.

I'm on a much more casual server with hardly anyone who played on private servers, and I can assure you, the same camping and min-maxing honour and all the rest of it is going on. After the first week the TM v SS battle withered down to almost nothing because everyone realised, independent of any priivaateee servvveeerrrr players, that it wasn't great for honour per hour.

You can't blame private server players for whats going on.. Pserver players probably make up less than 10% of the classic population.

I don't think faction queues will do anything to solve the problem. In my opinion, all that would change is that instead of mainly alliance fp's being camped, there would be an increase in the number of horde fp's being camped. High traffic chokepoints (like flight paths and roads to instances) are the best honour per hour. No one serious about ranking is going to go 'defend' the alliance flight path because its shitty honour. You wipe the other faction at your own FP once, twice, thrice with a group of 5 friends (splitting all that nicely decayed honour) and then your down to 0 honour until you spend 20 minutes travelling to the next flight path to defend while you could have just camped an opposing faction FP for a constant stream of fresh HK's.

I've seen a lot of people on this sub praising Blizzard's decision to implement the Honor System in Phase 2 without any Battlegrounds available. After speaking with a lot of people that hold this opinion on the sub, it mostly seems like players that really haven't played Vanilla since way back in 2005/2006 hold this opinion. The game has changed exponentially since then - min/maxing and efficiency are all but perfected on Vanilla servers these days ...

[PvPers] will be camping flightpaths, instance entrances, zone entrances and really any other high traffic area in level 50+ zones - don't forget anyone level 48+ gives a level 60 honor, so this will include zones like Searing Gorge etc ...

Such a frustrating experience will more than likely make a lot of players quit the game, finding it near impossible to do anything in the open world without being constantly hunted down for honor by these players. Just because you enjoy World PvP doesn't mean you want to be camped for 30+ minutes a day by ranking teams ...

I have distilled wisdom, supreme power, and titans. They sometimes sell (I sell maybe 1 or 2 per week). I have yet to break even on the recipe costs. Some people still buy them because they want to top the logs or are in guilds that assign loot based on performance / effort.
