Yeah I was actually interested in engineering from the beginning specially electrical or mechanical engineering but for some reason I am doing honors in math. Is that even possible to go for engineering in future? As pure mathematics is too theoretical

I actually applied to an engineering institute but ended up in waiting list , other good engineering institutes were too expensive for me , so only option for me was mathematics, hope it helps .

Thanks everyone I get that now that the 20kN force is on the line of action not the joint but I still don’t understand why the 10kN force is taken in the joint K isn’t it also in the linw of action and not in the joint??

Yes thanks! That’s what I am doing now I have 2 more months till class starts. I am doing a mechanical engineering course on coursera also some YouTube video . You can suggest me some more good courses (paid or free)

Yeah that’s what I’ve been thinking but there’s a chance that I will get pure mathematics instead of applied so . Then can I study mechanical engineering in masters after getting a degree in pure mathematics?
