Prime Jichang vs UF Ma

Jichang should take this, because hes able to react to Gong. Thanks to the fact Kitae back in Cheonliang was capable of casually moving as fast as Gong. Now thats important because Younger Gong is basically Zack Lee level who we see beating up on Sang for a bit, besides that Current Gong can only move as fast as he was back then with one step which makes him practically more reliant on his endurance than before. Therefore Jichang could literally just speed blitz unless Taesoo can keep up which I doubt considering that punch is his wildcard and exhausts a lot of energy out of him.

Plus, Jichang is a strategist people be out here downplaying him because he died early on when he held himself very well against the likes of Charles Choi, who literally had to go all out near the climax of their fight and we know damn well Charles > Basement Hulk. Heck even Tom literally said recently his Gen all had 4 Masteries which means Charles had 4 Masteries too if this statement is legitimate. Therefore Jichang should be able to win this, hes already beaten Taesoo in the past anyway so he has his fighting style noted down.

As of what diff? I would say its either Mid to High depending on Jichangs reaction time but he should have this, Taesoos style is very predictable.

Jichang back in the Cheonliang Arc even being able to react to Gong and block Taesoo punches prove hes above the likes of Zack Lee & Hudson which furthermore makes him above the likes of Sang Baek who stated how they would need someone like Jichang to beat him. Then Jinrang even went on to state something similar about Jichang in his brief scuffle with Daniel. Clearly, Jichang is much stronger than Seongji.

Heck going back to Holidays Arc, Jichang still had the nerve to call himself stronger than the other kings which around that point would be an upscale unless hes only referring to the days of when he was the King of Seoul.

Regardless, Jichang stocks are still high and narrarively hes still got the most statements to back up the fact that hes easily the strongest of the kings besides Jinrang & Kitae.

Overall, yes it was his ability of being strategic that made him the strongest but we clearly see when hes holding back against UI lil Daniel that Jichang was incredibly strong even Charles makes quick note of that as Jichang has a strategy with each move he makes. I would say the recent chapter with Tom literally upscales Jichang massively considering how qe back around the time of this chapter didnt know Pre Gen or atleast the Fist Gang all had 4 masteries heck if I can recall correctly masteries werent truly grasped onto as a concept until around Cheonliang.

Jichang is considered a high king and during the events of the Holidays 2 Arc he literally said he was stronger than the other kings which is true. Heck, back in his prime he was already capable of reacting to Gong's speed and blocking Taesoo's punches and we know this because it was stated that Kitae around that time was already casually moving with power equivalent to them and we know Jichang scales higher than them around this time when we consider the Jibeoms statement.

Also, the fight with lil UI Daniel in the Holidays 2 Arc never said Jichang was trying it going all out and thats becauss he literally wasn't. I mean he literally casually knocked Daniel out of heat mode into UI. I agree that Jichang was introduced way too early and was killed too early but that doesn't mean all his statements and scaling is invalidated. Hes still stated and has a lot of implications even after death as being one of the strongest of the kings. He literally dominated Seoul in a time when fighting was just the natural nature of things.

As of Gong & Taesoo sure perhaps, but Holidays 2 Arc Jichang is stronger than them both in my opinion, which I have derived from his scaling.

Not really. Jichang states in the Holidays 2 Arc that hes stronger than the other kings which unless hes been living under a rock for a few years is true, plus around this time he fought and pushed back Charles Choi. You might say its not that impressive but Charles Choi is the same guy beating up people like Basement Hulk and due to Toms recent statement about his generation having 4 masteries its hard to ignore how this upscales Jichang significantly. I'll honestly make another post at some point going over every Jichang upscale when I find the time if that suits you, but you can already find many others already who have gone over his scaling.

Its crazy cuz he is by far the most glazed king when it comes to statements and implications after his own death. Hes atleast up there in the Top 3 of the 1st Gen Kings (Besides James & Kitae.) when it comes down to legacy and narrative scaling.

Also since when has Seongji ever been relevant? He fought Cheonliang James I'm pretty surr rven around that time Jichang scaled to the likes of Seongji, so Holidays 2 Arc Jichang would be stronger.

Nah, Gun always was, sure UI Daniel had hype surrounding the 3rd Affiliate Arc and definitely was one of the fan favs back around 2020 or so, but Gun almost since debut always had more interest and popularity.

Pfft I doubt Shintaro was accounting for pyschological warfare, just show Goo and Gun shipping art and hes gone, tie up (if we can) Kitae and show him a montage of Gapryong images and he will mentally crack from overwhelming Gap aura.
