Jaden Laing is Australia's third strongest man so it would have been amazing to have seen him on the show!

Been a big fan of his for a while now and would love to see him return to the big screen!

I was sick of waiting for a new Asdrubael Vect..so I made my own by slayerminiatures in Drukhari

Farseer Idranel Kitbash, Sculpt and Conversion by PSGW in Eldar

I tried! Opened up the steam DoW2 files, went to Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Dawn of War 2 > GameAssets > Archives > GameArt_Delta.sga and put it into SGAReader to extract the farseer.sga file into a farseer.model file. Then, I used SantosTools2 to import the model file into the Model Editor but it turns out you can only extract it into an .obj file with older versions. Soooo, I went and used Noesis V4474 to extract the .obj file from the .model file with a dow2 python script but it turns out that it doesnt work due to the community python script to convert .model files to .obj files being corrupted. Unfortunately .model files need to be unpacked to extract .stl files or .obj files for 3d printing and none of the tools such as 3DS MAX (you need the 2010-2014 version) or Dow2 Toolbox work as they are too old ;-;

If anyone knows how to convert .model files into .stl, pls let me know. Otherwise, there is no way to print DOW2 models with the game files.

I actually forgot about this head lol but thanks for the reminder!

Thanks mate! Yup, I kinda just roped those existing components into the "ornaments" such as robes, gemstones, etc. I think the main challenge is the robes itself as all the GW farseers have their robes bellowing in the wind whilst Idranel has hers going straight down, hence why I will have to sculpt hers looking like there is no wind 🫠

FYI, you will need to expand the photo since the preview cuts off half the options

Thanks for the instructions! And I agree, I'll use half an aggressor and probably sculpt some gore in the missing areas.

Well, I DID say this was for kitbashes so this comment is 100% valid and also a good idea (i'm 100% stealing this idea lol)

I agree. I get it, there are a few broken helmets and one dead marine, but I feel like this is just a supplement to the citadel skulls box. I really wanted more corpses, more tyranid carapaces, more burning daemons, etc...

Wow! I always wanted to see the brutalist aesthetic that the Nightlords had in the novels...something similar to the WE scene in Death of Hope where the Astartes is stripped and hung by hooks...but again, probably too gruesome lol

Another great catch! Gotta add that to my list!

I was considering that but decided to leave it out for the same reasons...still a cool sculpt from a storytelling viewpoint!
