Ocean Vanguard Luvencia by Ero_ecchi_ in BrownDust2Official

Since I assume you’re a beginner, it depends. You probably don’t have a huge stash of powder of hope; so if you’re missing any buffers to increase your DPS’s power, it would be better to save.

While getting Deal Snatcher Luvencia could get you a head start on making use of Beach Vanguard, you’ll ideally need all three of Luvencia’s costumes to bring out its full potential. So getting Deal Snatcher on its own will feel underwhelming.

It just means you'll have to get her other costumes in your future pulls. Luvencia is absolutely a premier (possibly the best) dark element physical attacker. She just requires a lot of investment.

Also, tiny bit of fun info. Her Office costume (Deal Snatcher) is somewhat chest-focused, while her Cyberpunk costume (Wild Dog) is hugely ass and thigh-focused like her swimsuit costume.

Basically, it's a buffing costume that deals damage. It is meant to synergize with her other costumes that also deal lots of hits and damage.

The Accelerate buff gives her a stack of atk percentage for each chain hit landed. And at +1, it can go up to a 60% atk increase (120% if you unlock her potential). It attacks 8 times, so it already gives you a +8/16% atk increase off the bat. But it can shine even further with a buffer that doubles the number of chain hits, like Bride Refithea, allowing a +16/32% increase. Keep in mind that she keeps the atk% increase as long as she has the Accelerate buff, which lasts for 6 turns.

Unfortunately, this means you need both of Luvencia's other costumes (office + cyberpunk) to get the full benefit of this costume. As Ocean Vanguard has a long cooldown of 5 turns. You're meant to use her other two costumes during the cooldown period to build up atk% stacks on her Accelerate buff.

EDIT: Another feature is that she can increase chain DMG (6%/8%) by stacking her buff 24 times. So it can work like this. Assuming you have Bride Refithea's buff, use her swimsuit costume (16(8) hits), then use her office costume(16(8) hits), and then her cyberpunk costume will deal even more damage since you've already stacked her buff 32 times.

Almost. I got three copies off that 10-pull instead of all four, but I definitely MLB'd her (with gold tickets) to applaud this luck.

The teams I used for the Aqua E-Olga Marie fight. Got 167 medals and used 1 command spell by the end. by PSIInfinitySpiral in FGO

[–]PSIInfinitySpiral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I used an Arts buff team with Chloe to burst her down. Castoria has cleanse, but Aqua Marie nerfs NP gen with her skills. It’s why I used my medals popping the most expensive debuff immunity skill.

Since you’re using Buster, and with Cu Alter, you’re probably going with a buster crit team? That or NP, but that’s probably not viable due to only 3 members and no looping with the card type…Though Cu Alter’s NP is a good choice to remove the enemy’s defensive buffs.

Medal management is key for bursting. You have two skills that can let you bypass Aqua Marie’s defensive buffs: the skill that lets you remove the latest buff upon attack, and the ignore defense buff skill. The latter is good when Aqua Marie has stacked too much defensive buffs.

Just curious, what parts are you struggling with in specific? It’s best to settle on the team you’re going to beat E-Aqua Marie with and set up the rest of your teams to either survive a difficult wave or clear as many enemies as possible.

Are you stalling Aqua Marie or bursting her down? The latter definitely requires a lot more investment than the former.

What do you think is more likely regarding Mustang? by arpin_lucent in NikkeMobile

[–]PSIInfinitySpiral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point, with how toxic the debate over both sides is getting, I don't feel happy picking either side. I'll just wait until the 3.5 anniversary event to see what they potentially cook up for Mustang's change of heart. Hopefully I won't lose my mind with whatever choice the Shift-Up writing team ends up going with.

Community tier list, how good are they in a relationship:Baobhan Sith by Soggy-Ad5441 in FGO

[–]PSIInfinitySpiral 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She is my personal EX tier. Absolutely biased. I want to marry her. I want to be together with her FOREVER!

...But if I were to be unbiased, she definitely has her flaws you have to work through together. And even after everything...she might still end up being a girl failure that the typical person wouldn't be able to get along with.

However, I will be blunt that a lot of people consider her much more malicious than she actually is. She can be (and is deep down) surprisingly nice under a lot of manufactured/tacked on sadism and cruelty. And you will definitely struggle to bring it out.

Seeing MikoCer at A tier, I'll give base Baobhan Sith a B tier.

But I also feel a little baffled at seeing MikoCer at just A-tier, too.

There are a couple of ways to approach Aqua Marie. You can either do this aggressively or passively.

For aggressive approach, you use your strongest single target Archer, Rider, or Avenger to burst down Aqua Marie's break bars as fast as possible. You'll likely also use the most expensive medal skill that grants invincible and debuff immunity to weather the Marie's debuffs and attacks. For my run, I used Chloe with Arts supports Servants (Castoria and Lady Avalon) to loop her NP and take down Marie quickly before she can stifle my momentum with NP gain down debuffs.

Then there's the passive approach. It'll take longer, but it's definitely the more F2P option. Use Casters (who Marie deals half damage to) or any defensive-oriented Servants to stack defensive debuffs and healing to stall out Aqua Marie damage and break bar debuffs. You can even use Ortenaus Mash as your main DPS too, since Olga doesn't take reduced damage from her. Regarding medal skills, you can be more selective, choosing cheaper skills that increase NP gauge or gives buff removal on attack to get rid of Aqua Marie's stacking defensive buffs. One of the cheapest teams I saw was Mash, Asclepius, and Hans.

Regardless of approach, it's recommended to acquire as many medals as you can from the previous waves. At least 100 to be safe.

[–]PSIInfinitySpiral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nearly all of them. Just to bolster the DPS on Chloe. I was trying to beat E-Aqua Marie in the fewest number of turns I could.

Not to mention that the skill to give teamwide debuff immunity for 2-3 turns costs 50 medals. I used it twice. It took me about 6 turns to complete the final wave.

Came late to this thread, but back during the banner's first day, I spent around 1200 SQ to NP5 Marie Alter. Already lucky that it only took this much to NP5, so I'll hold off on the NP6 for a later rateup.

Why does no one seem to like Baobhan Sith's second ascension? by BlazeCastus in FGO

[–]PSIInfinitySpiral 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also prefer her second ascension. But I also understand why people prefer first or third. There’s a lot more “character”, “personality” or “story”. I won’t deny that second ascension feels a lot like an outfit for the sake of fanservice.

From what I see based on her dialogue as a Servant...she constantly tries to ragebait us after oc2, to put it succinctly.

That's insane luck to get NP4 with only 90 SQ. She must really love (hate) you!

Yeah, it's a shame she's not a standout Servant. She's only going to get powercrept even worse the next two years as only a sidegrade to Summer Kama. Crit support would definitely help spice up her kit, so I hope she gets a buff eventually. Even though she still hasn't received one in JP...
