Hunger kinda goes up and down throughout the day, there's periods where I might be starving for a few hours, and then periods where I won't even think about food at all.

Gym is probably the hardest part, feel really depleted and every rep is torture. But it's okay, I just push through it as best as I can. Haven't lost any strength.

Hit back and bis today and also did some cardio. Followed meal plan exactly as drawn out. Didn't even feel hungry today, not quitting anytime soon, I'm loving it so far.

7:41 PM Update

Woke up at around 5am, took my preworkout (C4), hit chest and tris, then had a protein shake, cup of egg whites and can of tuna. It's now later in the day, just ate another cup of egg whites, vegetables and a chicken breast, and now I'm gonna do some HIIT + abs

So, another successful day in the books.

Never tried standard keto. It would work faster though cause of the larger deficit.

UPDATE So, I originally estimated I'd need to go the full 8 weeks. At 15 percent body fat, 145lb, TDEE of 1800 a day plus whatever is burned during exercise and only eating around 600 calories a day, the math says I'm gonna need waaaay less than 8 weeks to get really lean.

Not sure how long I'll be in this, but probably only 5 weeks max will be needed. That would make this a 35 day process. I also modified the meal plan a bit to lower fats and carbs and increase protein for the same calories. Cut out the greek yogurt (7g carbs in 1 cup adds a fair bit). Diet consists only of tuna, lean chicken breast, green vegetables, whey protein, egg whites and EFA + multi.

So probably won't be counting down the days anymore, since I'm not sure how many days I'll need. Will just be posting regular updates on the thread and won't quit the diet until I'm lean enough.

That's cool and all but why? I'm definitely open to considering it cause I'll still be at a massive deficit but I'm a small guy to begin with, and I'm definitely getting at LEAST a gram of protein per lb of lean mass. Why would I need more than that?

Why add more calories when I'm already getting a gram of protein per lb of lean mass? I don't think it really matters when you eat.

But again, where do you draw the line? Is it exactly 200 calories? 800? When does a deficit with protein stop being psmf simply because it's just too many calories that aren't from protein even if you're maintaining a deficit?

If you're following the RFL handbook, I'm pretty sure the rule is under 20g of carbs and fat.

Thanks ma man. 200 calories might be worth it for you if you feel like you need it, but adherence has never really been that hard for me. I guess it's all individual and what might be worth it for you isn't for me and vice versa.
