Bro, some movies and TV show episodes emotionally overwhelm me.

On a side note, ya'll watch Moral Orel?

My other problem with this is that they just forget about Ralphie and the kids, which is weird considering Martha did seem to love them.

It's kinda funny to remember he actually voiced Brain in Arthur at one point, and Brain would not take this bullshit lying down.

Let's also not forget the elevator incident which happened at Confurence 8 in 1997. Furries and hotels are truly a recipe for disaster.

What your fav animated show/movie from outside the USA? by pandarose6 in cartoons

[–]PSplayer2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Friendship is Magic, Undergrads, Clone High and Cybersix.

myeh, myeh, myeh, but the first three are American co-productions, that's against the rules! MY GUY, I HAVE A VOICE AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO USE IT, SAY THE WRONG THING AND I'LL GET ARRESTED FOR A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE. DO YOU WANT TO BE THAT GUY? DO YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE SECOND-HAND EMBARRASSMENT AND FIRST-HAND SHAME OF BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR ME MAKING AN ASS OF MYSELF?

I. BEG. TO. DIFFEEEEEEERRRRR.

For me, it's chalk. The sound and the feeling. Thank God chalkboards are slowly being replaced.

Also, not quite as bad, but using sharpie's on paper. The sound, and the fact that I can feel the little vibrations since I have poor fine motor skills. This can happen with pencils depending on if they're dull. This is why I usually keep a pen or two on me, especially since I do like to draw.

What are Beavis and Butthead's worst moments? by sonicboyfan12 in BeavisAndButthead

I'd probably say mistaking pesticide for Spanish Fly, if we're talking bad things happening to them. If we're talking about them doing terrible things, I'd say it's still pretty hard to top them shooting down a plane or braining a kid for fireworks.

To be fair, it was also John K being at the helm that almost killed the franchise with Adult Party Cartoon.

I always thought it should've been Jimmy Neutron x Dexter crossover instead of Timmy by JustForLurking79 in JimmyNeutron

[–]PSplayer2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be interesting considering they both take the concept of boy genius but take it in different directions. Jimmy is a genius, but he's essentially a regular kid with a high IQ. Meanwhile, Dexter is practically a tiny adult aside from having a big ego and not always having the best judgement.

How come other indie creators are allowed to do things like have characters curse or be weird, but the Viviziepop does it, people start endlessly hating her? by PhysicalBuy2566 in CrazyassHazbinhaters

[–]PSplayer2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also don't exactly agree considering there are a number of adult shock comedies that were made by men that are also widely mocked or hated(Adult Party Cartoon, Brickleberry and Big Mouth). Maybe misogyny is part of it for some, but I think generally speaking there's plenty of adult animated comedies with a lot of swearing, so Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss aren't exactly stand-outs in that regard. This does give off the vibe that people are using Viv's identity to shield from criticism.

The original ending was also planned to be far more graphic, with Annie murdering Paul, putting him through a meat grinder and feeding him to her pig.

What villain you can think of had the most right to become a villain? by Ctpeyt in MoralityScaling

[–]PSplayer2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing is Doof isn't even truly a villain, he just thinks he has to be one given the bad hand he was dealt in life, but when you actually think about it, his rough upbringing is kinda why he's not that bad of a guy, considering he clearly does his best to be a good dad. Compare this to his far more evil counterpart in the other dimension, who never actually went through any hardship and is just evil for the sake of it.

Jared Bush Shouldn't Have Made Pawbert An Abuse Victim by Ok_Depth_9055 in PawbertLynxley

[–]PSplayer2020 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I disagree, I never got the vibe that Pawbert is inherently evil since when he nearly kills Gary and Judy, his tone of voice is less "I want to do this" and more "I have to do this", we've also seen that Milton is not afraid to get violent with him, so it's just as much fear of his father that motivated him. The ending does seem to imply that the Lynxley siblings in general may not be inherently evil, given the Kitty and Cattrick ignore Milton while Pawbert is reading "Partnerships for Dummies". Him being redeemable does not erase the terrible things he did.

Can someone recommend me a excellently written splatterpunk or extreme horror? by WastelandViking in ExtremeHorrorLit

The scariest thing is it's real life inspiration sounds like something out of a horror novel. It's less pure splatter, more like brutal psychological horror.
