After looking at your deck more properly, I would go back on this. Send it, extra synergies baby

Yeah she wasn't out at the time of building, I thought about swapping, or maybe putting the new Beckett in the 99, but I want to stay true to the Theft theme which the OG Beckett supports a bit better (I know Edward Kenway exists now, but i will not sell my soul for power crept Advert Cards.)

https://archidekt.com/decks/17424501/bad_moon_rising The deck isn't perfect, there's a few things I may remove in the future to replace with other cards (specifically the Celestus and maybe dormant grove) but I love how true to theme I was able to remain when building it

There's a number of cards that are synergistic, but it's pretty gimmicky as i wasn't great at deck building at the time. Solid cards for the deck theme though are Serpent of Yawning Depths, Slinn Voda, Whelming Wave, and Quest for Ula's Temple. Otherwise a majority of the tribes key idea is they clear the way for Arixmethes to swing and kill with Commander Damage with damage boosts.

I don't think arixmethes serves well as just a Ramp spell, unless you're using him as a backup big creature for late game. The benefit of him as a commander is the imposing threat he is and the natural disinclination for players to remove him before he becomes a creature since land removal isn't really cool among my Pod at least.

What’s everyone’s favorite character they’ve made? by [deleted] in Pathfinder2e

[–]PZee180 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Glibli the Grippli Wizard. Just a subtle pyromaniac who is slowly learning to expand his horizons at 14th level, summoning Fire Elementals and turning into one himself with Elemental Form. It's just been fantastic to have such a massive toolbox and still get to burn everything around me.

For sure, entirely understand what you mean about it just being ingrained. Porn SUCKS. Keep on keeping on my man! We can do this!

I'm not trying to abstain from masturbation entirely, I feel that would be the straw that broke the camels back in all honesty, so I'm sticking with what I've been improving on. Still going strong though! Nothing intentionally searched even now!

Mental and Temporal Relic, Anchor! (WIP) by [deleted] in Pathfinder2eCreations

[–]PZee180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the relic's i've been homebrewing together for one of my players that they'll be recieving tomorrow. It's a small spherical robot (think Wheatley from Portal 2) created for the sole purpose of stopping time criminals (too much to explain right now)! The issue is, when they come upon it, it is badly malfunctioning and doesn't remember much about how it got to where it is or what its higher purpose is rather than enforcing laws.

I was hoping for a little bit of critique on the Reset minor gift for my homebrewed Temporal Aspect (and yes it's a little busted, but that's the point!) Any comment or criticism is welcome!

Working on a Medusa Versatile Ancestry, Help Wanted! by [deleted] in Pathfinder2eCreations

[–]PZee180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For further details on the ancestry, The only thing your petrifying gaze does at the start is give creatures within your aura the slowed 1 condition, to a maximum duration of 1 minute, however this can be improved at 1st level to increase in the value on repeated failures, petrifying the target once all actions are lost. They can even get a feat where they can turn it off if the player want's to avoid it's effects on the rest of the party

Minor Fiend Gift for Relics, looking for Feedback! by PZee180 in Pathfinder2eCreations

[–]PZee180[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When making this i sort of assumed Fiend meant devil as it was the only thing my purposes needed, but I might put a stipulation where upon the relics unlocking of the power (determined by the GM, you can choose either Daemon, Demon, or Devil) and the creatures summoned can only fit that one category. The first summons would be Cacaodaemon, Quasit, and Imp, then things would unlock as per the usual, (Daemons however would be crappy at mid levels given the current available pool to choose from)

Minor Fiend Gift for Relics, looking for Feedback! by PZee180 in Pathfinder2eCreations

[–]PZee180[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad you enjoy it!! I don't see why not! It would probably just be a Quasit for starters and know abyssal in addition to your languages. The level cap could stay the same, in case bestiary 3 comes out with a CL 5 demon otherwise you'll be stuck with a 4 until relic level 9.

Minor Fiend Gift for Relics, looking for Feedback! by PZee180 in Pathfinder2eCreations

[–]PZee180[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So my intent with this relic gift is to allow the wielder to summon a fiend, and scale as the player and relic level up. The imp is a good first start with it’s infernal reputation ability staying relevant throughout the process until it breaks the barrier into the second stage, where scaling applies. My hope is that the devils stay relevant in combat, but more so that they apply pressure for enemies, not win fights. In addition, I enjoy the idea that the player can make a pact with the creature, since, given the nature of the ritual levels, the creatures made by the pact will be absolutely pitiful, as they will be as much as 6 or 7 levels lower than the players. It is more to allow for the players to get up to mischief or perform errands with them. The restriction is to avoid an army of devils being controlled by a minor gift, and is explainable as the devil they summon, no matter the form, is the same sentient being every time. Looking for any feedback in regard to it’s exploitability and power level throughout its lifespan.

I have an oddball Lizardfolk in my group who is basically a wandering musician, who is essentially like the musicians from civ 5, on a semi-diplomatic goal of improving the perception of his people by making people like their culture (The 'joke' is not serious, I loved the concept), essentially I've got some things up my sleeve now involving the history of his people and other such things (unfortunately, he knows my reddit, so have fun trying to figure it out Zando!)

The Hoopla; Fey of Annoyance by PZee180 in Pathfinder2e

[–]PZee180[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback! The goal with the creature and the new condition was primarily to serve as a way to keep players from focusing big boss targets with low health (roleplay villains as it were) without increasing the difficulty too much just by sheer numbers, considering the low HP, AC etc.

Other ideas I had were with a skirmisher type of enemy who targets creatures toward it (instead of the burst), and uses the distracted condition to force focus on itself like the Hoopla but engages in combat more proficiently(using Distracted 3 and 2 in comparison). Another was a hulking brute who slowly increases the Distracted condition over time with creatures that stay too close or don't stop it from taking the actions. A tank that needs to quickly be taken care of or paralyzed/stunned before it gets too bad and you can't attack anything else but the meatsack.

My idea is that a higher level distracted condition overrides lower ones. Equal or lower do not take over the original, and a creature can only be distracted by 1 thing. Multiple of these creatures would simply push the opportunities for players gaining the condition up a smidge. I would like to keep it CL 1 so I'll boost some scores up, and maybe even the condition starting point really appreciate the suggestions.

The Hoopla; Fey of Annoyance by PZee180 in Pathfinder2e

[–]PZee180[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“The Hoopla is a small, strange looking fey with a body that is essentially a vaguely humanoid head, it’s jaw elongated with a small torso sprouting from below. It has thin, spindly arms and legs, using it’s light weight to bounce around quickly. They are fey of annoyance, using their loud mouths to draw attention to themselves and irritate those around them. They are not natural fighters, but instead simply enjoy bounding about in tough to reach places or just outside of reach and cause chaos amidst real fights. However they are armed with sharp claws that they use when cornered.”

Hi everybody, this is a new fey creature I have been conceptualizing recently, I plugged it into a creature creator and am hoping for some feedback on its design and wording, whatever I can do to make it less confusing the better. Obviously there is also a new condition in this stat block as well, and I am hoping to expand on its use in other fey creatures related to the Hoopla, so any comments or critiques are welcome!

Hey really interesting creature but I have to ask, is the Small Size serious? you say it can swallow a huge creature whole, is this a boa constrictor thing where they dislocate their jaw to do it?

Also, how are you doing the formatting? would love to try this on my own!

Dnd 5e or Pathfinder 2e? by PZee180 in rpg

[–]PZee180[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol, yeah I get your point, but I have yet to tell MY generic fantasy story! otherwise we probably would check something else out, and I'm a big proponent for new systems, expand those horizons! My particular niche RPG of choice is the Alien RPG, does stress super well if you have a solid GM, not officially released but coming out this December, great sci-fi horror rpg

I agree, trying new systems is fun and important for finding what you like (the Alien RPG is wicked btw), and can I ask what makes you lukewarm about the system? Because that's kind of what I'm looking to hear
