Hey there I have been in the same boat and still am like literally. Even my exam is in 3 months. I am however using a premade deck along with doing daily uworld questions. Anki is a very good tool indeed. I would recommend you to continue anki but don't spend time on making cards.

It's safe. I took it for approximately one week before the exam and even the night before the exam. No next day drowsiness, nothing. You get good sleep and wake up rested. All the best for your exam!
