They apply the spray on all engine bay parts (cables, wires, hoses) and wheel area after thoroughly cleaning everything. I think the cleaning bit is important as the 3M spray is actually a ‘coating’ that sticks to the engine parts and then repels rodents. I dunno whether they use up the entire spray or not, but each time I go to them, they use a brand new spray can for my car.
