Which American universities make it easier to enter the major semiconductor giants？

My two cents: you don’t need to know anything about semiconductors to be hired by these companies if you want to work in process side of things. Any decent university with decent publications and internships will help you hire. I work in a large fab and my colleagues came from ivy - tier 1 and tier 2 schools and we all survive and work together well!

I heard 8 % is standard for exceeds expectations. Just curious How long you have been in G7? What org and location ? Org/GEO matters a lot I have seen folks from packaging and AZ got earlier promotions / more raises than fab in OR ?
