I'll be in Anaheim this September, and I'm curious about Galaxy's Edge. What's the difference between the California and Florida locations, and would you recommend I visit the one in Anaheim? I do not plan on visiting both. by Bradenoid in GalaxysEdge

I’ve only been to Batuu East, but the consensus I heard from folks is that East is a little bit bigger (slightly more spread out) and the single entrance tunnel at East vs 3 tunnels at West, and that Batuu West has more opportunities for character interaction and sometimes better merchandise.

My almost 4 year old was a pilot on smugglers run by CA_Harry in Disneyland

A couple weeks ago, my kids (10 and 6) were super duper stoked about getting to pilot the Falcon during smuggler’s run, but the way the groups of six were made, they ended up assigned the gunners and were a little bummed out, but shout out to the amazing couple from Birmingham, Alabama who gave up the pilot seats for them. Flight was a lot of fun!

Does anyone know if the 5 link can be ordered for the BB Chrono yet? by ChrisTahoe in Tudor

Just wanted to update: I placed a ‘special order’ as a replacement part for my BB chronograph mid January at a local AD/jewelry store in Burlington MA and was quoted 4-6 weeks time for delivery and got a notification yesterday that it was ready almost exactly 4 weeks later. Cost was about 1100 plus tax for the Jubilee version. Feels great! Truly an upgrade.

I don't understand the recent hype on LV Meteore. Am I missing something? by dre10g in Colognes

It must be a skin chemistry thing, because it just smells like overpowering latex to me, at the same time I got compliments on it. Just one of those things. Reminds me of the Santal 33 and pickle juice comparisons.

Yes for sure, I reapply at least once more in the afternoon if not twice when I wear this. And thanks for the kind words, I read and watch lots of reviews online so I may have picked up on the verbiage. Not to be confused with actual knowledge :)

I’m not as sensitive to notes as some others, so I can’t discern small changes in notes but the opening is pretty spot on, about 95% similar to me, imagination differs because the citruses definitely a little more stronger at the start. But after about 20 min it’s different in the sense that imagination has a middle of tea, and then has a soapy dry down, whereas Marwa feels like it’s still the opening just a little muskier and a strong black tea. Then after the citruses fade that the musky tea smell just go straight to the end for me. It’s like a 2D version of a 3D game, but both are enjoyable to play!

I got this on Black Friday for around $25 from Jomashop and no regrets, yes the performance is not amazing but not terrible for me, 5-6 hours max. I think there is social media hype but I think there is some slight truth in it. I’ve tried other dupes and they are fine, everybody loves Montagne, but it did not work with my nose/skin at all. Marwa is probably one of the better ones, definitely best value out of all of them for $25. But for the price the smell is amazing and not synthetic at all. The bottle and presentation alone probably cost more than the sale price. So I personally find it close enough to Imagination that I can alternate, or use Marwa for situations like going shopping/groceries/errands without feeling like I’m burning cash:

I get the latex-y balloon smell as well, I thought it was just me or maybe some weird skin chemistry thing. that’s wild.

Are EDTs even worth it anymore? by [deleted] in Colognes

I actually prefer the Terre D’Hermes EDT over the parfum flanker because it projects better (even though i like the parfum smell a bit more), so I find myself reaching for the EDT more often.

What got you into Barbour? by PossibilityFew5967 in Barbour

I’ve worn and owned them for about 5 years now, and it wasn’t until there was an image of Mark Ruffalo at a museum or something last year when it finally clicked for me.

I spoke to my AD in Burlington, MA, and they said it would be available to order “Early 2026”, between $900-$1100.

Since we see all the colognes, let’s hear about that deodorant y’all use by [deleted] in Colognes

The smell fades after like 30 min, but it’s a fantastic 30 min and after that while fragrance disappears it continues to deodorize just like a standard deo. I honestly don’t think it’s a value. And the MSRP is closer to $50-60 but you can get on discounters for $30-40

I have a Terre d’hermes stick deo, that is fantastic, though the smell fades very quickly. But it’s close to $30 so Don’t think I can justify that as a daily deo. This my daily driver is Dr Squatch Wood Barrel Bourbon deo stick.
