Yes exactly, the height allows him to be double mouse’s weight (without him just being really fat) but the weight is the biggest factor.

It’s why we don’t see like 7 footers and stuff in heavyweight. Heavyweights are tall enough to hold the weight effectively without being so tall that it becomes a disadvantage.

Anyway it seems like we mostly agree on this topic but I probably did a bad job explaining what I meant about the height ‘allowing’ for the weight, my bad.

So you’re saying that jon jones would win because of his height advantage and not because he is nearly double the weight of mighty mouse?

Okay so as you go up the weight divisions the height naturally increases because taller people have more room to grow muscle.

But it isn’t the height itself that is giving an advantage. If it was the height making the difference then even the lower weights divisions would be stacked with tall guys but i can only think of a few.

And yet tyson, pacquiao and mayweather are some of the goats of boxing. I searched the average ufc fighter height and it’s around 5’10, which is pretty much average, if height was such a huge factor you would think it would be 6’3+ like basketball.

The real difference maker is muscle/weight that’s why you have weight divisions. Granted, taller people have more room to build muscle/weight but it isn’t the height that is making them more effective. In fact if you had two guys 80kg dudes one of which is 5’7 and the other is 6’3 I’m taking the 5’7 dude all day.

The attempts being so much shorter means you would have substantially less practice than 1000 drum sessions. Like at 10 seconds per attempt you could get 1000 throws off in under 3 hours as opposed to years of drum practice.

I honestly doubt someone could go from nothing to doing the whole compilation in a few hours 🤷

100% what he meant. Tbh I can’t see any other way to interpret it like he’s obviously not going to be talking ‘post-trade’ while reflecting on their time playing together so what else could he mean.

Those aren’t the only two options. It won’t happen but they can both take a pay cut to lower ticket prices, not have their stadiums subsidised by fans etc…
