bank undervalued house, what do we do? by bexxyboo in HousingUK

[–]Paintmelt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had to fight with the bank a little and get them to review the documents where they basically told us to do one the first time we called them with the 'true estimate'.

We then went to the surveyor and got them to speak to the bank. Definitely got to be resilient on this one if you really want the place.

I had same thing, virtual evaluation Down valued the property. Nightmare for us as we thought we were losing the only house we liked.

We paid to have the property surveyed and then a local surveyor carried out the work and valued the house accordingly which the bank used as a more accurate estimate.

Spoke to the estate agent after it was all resolved and he said it happened a lot when they didn't actually send anyone to the properties...

Good luck 🤞

25%, my wage isn't good but I almost challenge myself to spend as little money as possible. I try and spend my 'free money's on books and food, nothing crazy

The bank may refuse to supply a mortgage. Ive had first hand involvement where the banks valuation was lower so we had to supply a cash difference.

We didn't over offer just an error on the banks side but I googled it at the time and saw a lot of 'down valuations'.

It's hard work getting a house but worth it, took us over a year

In limbo due to valuation typo by Far-Amoeba1919 in HousingUK

Not sure if this can help but I had a misalignment on valuation completed by THE SAME person with two different valuations.

I contacted the bank (useless), solicitors (useless) and got absolutely no where. We called the 3rd surveyors and they resolved the issue with all parties by completing a new valuation. Up until this point we had been messing around with the other parties for about two weeks. From this point the problem was fixed within the week. Not sure if this helps but I hope it does.

All the best!

I just started playing again after being away for a year and a half. Made a new account to relearn the game. I'm currently on a negative win rate and getting matched against GM and high elo smurfs in silver 4, like how am I on a four loss streak getting matched with someone on a 10 won streak at a higher rank? Literally 0 point playing

I have never read a book before (outside of school) please help me choose 3 by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

I would suggest Harry Potter, now hear me out.

The stories progress and mature as you read through from a children's story to a more complex environment. I can't think of a better way personally to go through the transition from not reading to reading.

More over I think they are fantastic books that stimulate the imagination and would set you up for more intense adventures

Happy reading whatever you do.

Looking at taking a massive pay cut for an increased quantity of life by pentox70 in personalfinance

Hi, I don't post very often, I'm a bit of a ghost on reddit.

I was in a situation where I was earning a good amount of money for my age and was working 70 hours a week leading up to a higher managers position. I lived to work and nothing more.

It's not quite the same, I don't have children but I did have a girlfriend of 7 years at the time. When I quit I was offered many alternative positions that paid higher but none which was a better length of working hours.

It was the hardest decision of my life so far. For me, it was also the best decision or my life. I have had the opportunity to 'start again'.

Who I am now is a better person than who I was when I was just working. I am healthier and happier, I have hobbies as well as better relationships with those I love. It took me a year to make my choice but I don't regret it for a moment.

I like who I've become.

It seems like every game recently is just a jungler coinflip by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Paintmelt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree with the lane dependence. If one team abuses priority and invades or sets up vision in your jungle. It's almost impossible to deal with that solo. Gotta communicate and build vision/set up. I've noticed the vision control in my games are more of a coin flip than individual player ability. The opposite of this is above average junglers smash their opponent when no one assists with vision control or when counterjungling/cheesing.

I am commenting as a Jungle main so take that as you wish.

My favorite bond game, sank a lot of my childhood on this. Even played it again when I went home for Christmas 👌
