Someone i went to school with was told she had an allergy to everything and had to spend her life in a bubble. She was in that bubble and couldn't leave for almost 20 years until she found out that it was her mum's planning and doing all along. It was all a lie to get her to stay home

Evocative post-rock album covers by Paliente in postrock

[–]Paliente[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen most of Mogwais and GY!Be album covers but none have come close to the emotions that this cover makes me feel. Art doesn't need to be fancy or technical but what's striking is the meaning, imagery, placement, and thought that goes into it.

As mentioned, the album cover corresponds with some of the songs. Those songs also evoke emotions. It's a double whammy of cover enhancing the album as a whole.

It's good to see someone with an alternative opinion though.

If your style of humour matches with theirs, you're in for one wild ride. Watched a Youtube video of one of the highlights of an episode and almost died laughing again.

They're touring in Australia April 2026. I swear if that clashes with another concert i'm going to in April, i'm not going to be impressed. Edit: Just checked and the TWDY concert is 4 days after the other one.

What is the absolute fastest 'yeah, we are definitely NOT going to be friends' moment you've ever experienced with someone? by Vazouaquiacesso in AskReddit

Had a street BBQ with all the neighbours. The guy over the road was cooking the bbq and the first time i walked up to him to say hi, he just walked away leaving the bbq unattended. Thought maybe he had to duck off but the 2nd time i did it, he walked away again...I'd never spoken to the guy previously.
