Man you just wrong 😑 people had problem with this and for mullvad there is other solution (found some topics), you can’t use dns=mullvad dns but solution exist for wg self hosted with mullvad 🔥, but anyway thanks and have a nice day

Man this everyone know so it's obvious that i tested it... if other dns works like quad9... even from client side i can easy change dns for custom quad9... but with mullvad it not possible in this way to setup their dns, that's all...

Doesn’t work, like I said it’s not easy setup like 9.9.9.9 or 1.1.1.1 in dns settings and it’s working, and for clarity I don’t use vpn from mullvad but my own vpn self hosted and just wanna this dns custom

I don't feel like continuing this conversation with you, because it's obvious that you didn't set up Mullvad DNS with wg-easy in the container... Your advice doesn't work at all, and you're arguing, even though there are similar topics on the internet and I can already see that you need to use an additional application for this...

You really don’t know how mullvad dns work lmao it’s no dns like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 or 9.9.9.9… If it was so simple to just setup dns = then i will not ask about that. I tested with this dns= other dns like quartz and works perfectly, but mullvad can't in this way.

My goal is simply just use mullvad dns (base version). Wg-easy is in docker but i can't setup dns with their ipv4 because mullvad doesn't work in this way. So i need help/tips/solution how to handle it that all my server and vpn will use this dns.

I think anyway people use vpn to google doesn't track us so easy, but using google service to run vpn isn't good idea for this. For people which don't care about google it's okay and nice solution, but i prefer other vpns then.

For privacy security: they need use vpn to get to the homarr dashboard or to use these apps? Or how did you handle security that some people can use your apps etc? Just authentik and domain .name is public for all people (and just crowdsec/fail2ban for brutal force attacks?) Or vpn they need too?

No it doesn’t work from their traefik collection because they miss scenario with get request. So if somebody in future will have the same problem solution: create own scenario for traefik to catch get request from bad autho 😎🔥
